Best WLM Reviews
First time coming here from Houston and the gentleman that was helping us made the experience amazing! Absolutely love the Black Bean noodles from here along with the Sweet and Sour Pork, the service was top tier like no other and my girlfriend and I felt like we were welcomed with open arms! The gentleman helping us was entertaining and was also super nice! This easily became our new go to spot whenever we visit LA for some Jjajangmyun. Thank you again for the hospitality!!!
Located in Koreatown in LA, Zzamong is a great spot to enjoy traditional Korean food. The dishes are flavorful and authentic, and the service is always friendly. Plus, the prices are very reasonable, making it an excellent choice for a casual meal. Highly recommended for anyone wanting to experience true Korean cuisine!
I am new to the Korean Chinesw food genre. It is my first time trying it.
Jjiangmyun is this thick noodles with black sauce. The noodles reminds me of the tsukemen noodles I had in Japanese restaurant. I was expecting the sauce to bw salty, but it was so well balanced.. I loved it!
$13 for a combo of Jjangmyun, sweet sour pork and fried beef gyoza - that’s one of the best lunch you can get!
I also had the gyoza. I think it is good for Korean food standards!
The combo $13 and a steamed pork gyoza, my bill was $26 before tip.
One downside of this location is the valet. They charge to park from 11:30 am all day.
It was my first time trying this spot, and I wasn't disappointed! Got the black bean noodles, pork dumplings, and some egg rolls. Everything was absolutely delicious! Our server was also very nice! Overall, it was a great experience!
Feel pretty bummed out. I used to love this place but today the jjm came out cold and the noodles were tough, the shrimp wasn’t as soft and flavorful, and the dumplings were okay. Wasn’t the best :(
This is such a bang for your buck! One of my favorite cheap eats in LA. Me and my friend shared Jajangmyeon and the free dumplings (if you check in in yelp!!). We only payed about $7 dollars each (with tax and tip) and it was delicious. For the price there really isn’t anything to complain about, would totally come back :)))
Great noodles to match a classic much loved dish in JaJiangMien! The noodle itself besides the sauce makes or breaks it.
The sauce was thick but not too thick and not overpowering. Extra seasoning is provided to darken and deenen and aalten your noodles if so desired.
The ingredients in the sauce were fresh vegetables consisting of zucchini and onion.
Overall a great dish.
11/6/22: Had the jjangmyun (comes with noodles and minced pork, zucchini and onion in the sauce). I guess it's a Korean comfort food. It was prepared well but I just don't think the taste is worth the carbs.
