Armature works has a variety of eateries so it's hard for anything to really stand out here. It is my go to when I want a good poke bowl though, I tried their sushi a while ago when they were located towards the back of armature works and that was good too. No complaints, glad they offer delicious consistent bowls. The teas are okay... again nothing special but definitely check them out!
I love the food here. It’s always fresh. I don’t like the wait time but considering they’re making everything from scratch, I understand. Definitely will recommend this place to anyone wanting some exceptional sushi. I also gave only 4 stars for the atmosphere as it’s a bit noisy. But it’s a shared dining space, so I know they have no control over that????????♀️
Located in Armature works this location is the same as the other ones. Food comes out quickly and its quality. The eel, shrimp tempura and salmon rolls are delicious. Line lines go through pretty quickly and there’s seating every where. Food comes out fresh and I always have to stop by Zukku when I’m in the area. They have plenty of rolls for all types of sushi lovers
If you're going for the sushi burrito, save yourself the trip. My burrito came out to $19 and it's size is comparable to the McDonald's snack wrap. The quality was good; fresh. But not worth the price. Could be that the location on the touristy side. The atmosphere is cool. Chill hangout spot near the water.
Food was good but prices are a bit much, 2 rolls, sashimi and a drink was $35. Definitely a once in a while place.
This is located at the heights public market which is a great place to spend a Sunday afternoon! There's all kinds of vendors, an outdoor area with more vendors and live music.
Great atmosphere! The sushi burrito was filling and well made. Nothing too complex, and there will be a wait of about 10 minutes after you order- but you can walk around and explore and receive a text when ready.
I ordered the land & sea sushi burrito with shrimp tempura and chicken which was about $13 with tax!
It's not really a burrito. Just 2 huge pieces of sushi. It's wrapped in nori. It a tortilla. That said this was very good. I paid $18 with tax. A little pricey but it's sushi. Sushi ain't cheap. I'm only visiting Tampa but if I come back, I'd definitely go here again.
Oh and they have a soy sauce fountain. It's like the exact opposite of Chinese restaurants being stingy with soy sauce.
I added my soy sauce to the box. Don't forget yours if you take it to go.
The food is not only delicious but consistent. The create your own bowl option is great and provides a nice portion at a good value. You can’t go wrong with the sushi rolls and the options are diverse.
