Sighs. Literally, just picked this up while on my break and it doesn’t taste fresh..at all. I’m annoyed because I spent almost $70. This place is hit or miss. I ordered shrimp and lobster tempura rolls. The rolls are falling apart, the batter is hard and overcooked. I’m disappointed because I’m not going to eat the rest of mine (my nephew may scarf it down, though). If this place was more consistent, it’d be a lot better but I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon.
We came here twice 6 years ago ...so delicious back in the area and came in, new owners. Great service, delicious sushi, and those dumplings... worth the trip.
I ordered the tempura shrimp and as you can see...it was breaded and fried! They did a thick, heavy tempura on the vegetables, though. Sooo, why not actually put the tempura ON the shrimp? It was very disappointing. The others in our party enjoyed the Godzilla roll, the chicken katsu with noodles instead of rice, and the teriyaki steak.
I loved my dinner. The service is excellent. I was able to take my time with my meal. I ate Eel for the first time, and because it was cooked and prepared at top nouched presentation. I didn't hesitate a second to get a try. I was amazed. It tasted like a tender shark with a great texture.
My husband and I purchased all deep fried sushi ???? $74.00 worth and it was horribly overcooked to the point where we could only eat the inside of the sushi. ???? My family and I could not even bite into it.???? After calling to see if I can get a refund back , they advised they would call me back. 1 hour passed no call back. So I ended up calling back to their claim that they lost my number and was hoping I called back. ????I spoke to manager who advised nobody ever complains about their deep fried sushi and that’s how it’s cooked. We have had fried sushi before and never experienced this overcooked nasty ???? mess. I advised her regardless , we didn’t like the sushi and it was indeed overcooked. They would not give us our money back but offered a discount on next visit. We advised that’s unacceptable - I want a full refund and I offered to bring the food back. Ofcourse , she declined. Poor customer service , food was not eatable , overcooked and will never go there again. Please eat somewhere else. $74.00 wasted. If I could rate their service lower then 1 ⭐️ I would.
Wanted to spend my birthday here, such a great choice! Started with a spicy tropical roll, excellent fresh full of flavor. Ordered the chicken hibachi, came with house soup and salad, entree came with noodles, fried rice and vegetables. The flavor was outstanding and again so fresh. Our party also ordered the scallop hibachi which they said the scallops tasted sweet and fresh, and the shrimp stir fry. Portions are huge, service is excellent and prices are spot on. You won't go away hungry or disappointed.
We eat here at least once a week, it is my go-to spot! The food is always good and consistent (my go-to is the udon noodles) and the staff are so so pleasant! They feel more like friends, Queeny and Ada are the best!
