Very nice atomsphere and seating but the service is very low quality and the food like all Middle Eastern food in Northern Virginia is dry and basic. No complimentary water for the table. Spent $50 on an appetizer, a main dish, and a smoothie drink and the best thing was the smoothie drink. Not worth the money.
Went on a Thursday night. New owner was very welcoming and showed us around. Outdoor seating area is gorgeous and inviting with fire pits and great lighting. We chose to sit upstairs in hookah lounge area, eclectic cozy decor with potential to be classy. New owner is in process of redoing the space and revamping the menu to be more Jordanien/Palestinian. The food was amazing, best falafel in town! Every bite was full of flavor and bursting with spices. Great value for amount/ quality of food. Will definitely be going back. Hoping more people give this place a try so the new owner can bring his authentic vision to life!

Average at best, chicken shawarma was not traditional at all, falafel was dry as can be, no toom included, fries extremely soggy, no napkins or utensils. Ordered from Doordash and probably the last time as way to many other/better options. Businesses pretty much don't care anymore
Amazing! Service is fantastic! And the food is soo delicious! Fast and friendly. I’m visiting from Florida and was searching for something yummy to eat. I came across this place and it’ll definitely be a new staple when I come to visit again. I absolutely recommend!
Food was amazing! Had been wanting to come here for awhile now since I always drive past this place and the outside looks amazing! Sadly the day my husband and I went it was raining. However the inside is really nice too they are trying to some renovations at the moment to update the place since new management took over. They have a smoking and non smoking area which was nice and I appreciated.
The food we got was the hummus appetizer which was probably some of the best hummus I’ve had so far. As well as the pita bread came out warm which I liked. I got the chicken shawarma sandwich with fries and it was so delicious. Very flavorful! My husband got the chicken shawarma plate and it was big definitely could be shared but he loved it! We both got drinks and I got the mint lemonade and I’m a lemonade girl and this was sooo good although my husband thought the mint was a bit strong but to me it was perfect so it depends on taste. My husband got their mango drink which he downed and I got to try it and it was really tasty both drinks are perfect for a summers day!
The only thing which even the new owner explained was they are short staffed due to the new management. So there was bit of a wait to order but we did sit down and it wasn’t bad honestly. Once they put in the food order it went fast from there and got our food not long after. So if you are impatient just get to go. But since we were on a date we had no issues.
Definitely recommend going and I’ll be going again.

This place has a cool outdoor seating patio and two levels (1) Upper is divided into a smoking hookah lounge, and dinning area. My recommendation is to remodel that entire area with new ceiling fixture, furniture, seating, tables, LED lighting, windows and repaint the entire section. It needs more curb and dinning appeal.
(2) Main level is where the kitchen, hookah bar and other service areas are located. I would also recommend for a complete renovation of the entire main level to make it more presentable. Especially upon the main entrance. A whiter or brighter paint color perhaps.
Regarding the food, the lamb chops where very small proportion used for the price I paid and it lacked flavor. The hummus, the pita bread and the mint-lemonade juice were the only things that I really liked.
This place really needs some work and before I consider recommending this restaurant to the public. I’d like to see some upgrades or changes to modern day status.

What a pleasant surprise!
My husband has driven past the restaurant several times and suggested we have dinner there one night when we weren’t sure of where to go.
The restaurant itself is pretty nondescript. It’s a stone near Lowes/a strip mall. The furnishings aren’t new and shiny, and your food is served with plastic utensils.
Now, let’s talk about the food!
Firstly, I wish I had taken photos before we got started. Don’t worry - we’ll be back again and I’ll replace the pics.
We ordered mint lemonades ($8 each) and WOW! It came out frozen/blended - AMAZING flavor. I would literally just go there to pick up one of those to go instead of a Tropical Smoothie or something. DELICIOUS!
We ordered tabouleh - seriously the best I’ve ever had. SO refreshing and flavorful, and it was perfect with the lemonade.
My husband ordered the Kafta Kabob meal ($16) and I ordered the Chicken Shawerma ($17).
Oh, the flavor y’all…
Now listen, we lived in the Mediterranean for 5 years and have lots of legit food. We KNOW good food.
Don’t let the less than flashy furnishings fool you.
Zouroona is legit.
