Ordered on 11/7/22 via UberEats
Order:
Mexican Street Corn Salad
Soup & Sandwich(Spicy Black Bean Chili & Chicken Toscana)
This was my first time ordering from a Zoup! restaurant. It definitely won’t be my last. The food was beyond amazing.
The soup was a 3.5/5 on the spice level, and 10/10 on flavor. Rich, hearty, and warm. I’d elbow my grandma for another cup.
The Chicken Toscana was great. The bread was rustic, the basil mayo was amazing, the chicken chunks weren’t too thin or large, and they grilled those onions and peppers to perfection.
The greatest part was the Mexican Street Corn Salad. I mean, wow. The pictures don’t even do it justice. It was more of a rice bowl than a salad, though there were greens in there. That Mayo and hot sauce combo *chef’s kiss*. This salad was probably one of the best things I’ve had the pleasure of devouring all year. It was filling, but every time I put it down I went back for more. I’d wrestled 6 crocodiles for another bowl. I’m excited to try more of their salads, and that’s a statement in itself. Do your tastebuds a solid and get a soup, salad, and sandwich. This was a holy trifecta of a meal, and I love them for it!
This location does not let you sample the soup. They said because of corporate policy changes. The change was that they are not supposed to offer, but if a customer asks it’s ok to give a sample. I will go to another location, Nortwestern hwy appreciates their customers.
I came to this location for the first time on 12-03-2019.
I went with the Try Two option. Fire Roasted Tomato Bisque and The Turkey & Bacon Club. The soup and sandwich were fantastic.
I had their vintage lemonade. I didn't know that was a thing. However, it was terrific.
It was pretty busy, but I was able to order pretty quickly and got my food pretty quick. It has plenty of seats to dine in, and when warm weather hits, they have outdoor seating as well.
I love this place. The food is hot and very tasty. There are lots of options to pick from including sandwiches, macaroni and cheese, grain bowls, salads, and of course soups. I also love that they have lots of drink options including specialty lemonade.
I really like the new southwest turkey sandwich. Did the pick 2 with it and the fiesta chicken salad and it was more than enough food and delicious.
I've always been a fan of this spot—great food, great service. That is, until we had the audacity to walk in 45 minutes before closing (4/17/24)! My wife tripped over a vacuum cord, and the staff looked horrified as we dared to dine in. "We just wiped all the tables," they protested. The lead, with a stern look, announced, "We lock the doors at Eight!" leaving us to wonder if we'd be dining in or locked in.
Ordering was a comedy of errors. They'd already packed away the ingredients for my wife's sandwich, and the mac & cheese was a no-show. She settled for a salad—sans dressing. When we asked for some, it seemed like we'd asked for their firstborn. I got my extra dressing, eventually, after a couple of reminders.
Despite the chaos, I'll return as this was the only bad experience out of many good ones. Possibly not around closing time.
The staff was nice. The soup was okay, I ordered the chicken pit pie soup, and it was a little salty to me. If you ever go to Pot Belly, try their version. In my opinion, it's way better. My daughter got the kids' meal, which came with 8oz soup, a bag of gold fish, and a juice box for like 7 dollars. She enjoyed the soup, I tasted it it was pretty good.
I can see why people like this place. The soup was great! The sandwich was okay...a little pricey, what is pictured was $15. But I'll be back!
