Best WLM Reviews
I’ve been experiencing some pretty serious back pain that other physicians haven’t taken seriously so far. Ingrid was incredibly caring, compassionate, and kind in treating me. In 20 minutes I felt more heard by her than my PCP. The front desk nurse/receptionist was also incredibly nice and was super up front about pricing. For how affordable it is to be seen that quickly, I’m really glad I was able to get checked out here.
I came in for an issue that a few other providers I had seen elsewhere were unable to solve and had been getting worse. I saw Seydel and she was able to diagnose and treat my issue to perfection! I feel like a whole new person! She is truly a blessing to this community and I would highly recommend
I come to this urgent care as I live in the area - the care I get is usually hit or miss.
That being said, my mother fell a couple feet away from this location and needed a bandaid. They refused to give her one saying “they arent allowed to”. Whether they are “allowed” to or not, I think you should think very carefully about a medical practice that puts policy over humanity and care. There were strangers on the street willing to give more support than a certified urgent care - I’ll let you be the judge of if you want to go here!
They are an urgent care that bills as a primary care. I came in. They took my insurance card and didn’t tell me until after my 5 minute appointment that my insurance will not cover it. I explained my insurance covers urgent care nationwide. They let me know they don’t bill as an urgent care. I wish they would have told me before going to the back for 5 minutes so a PA could look in my ear. I would have went somewhere else. They charged my card on file $250 and costumer service refused to help with the issue.
Don’t waste your time. This is not an urgent care. At least not how I understand them to be or like any I’ve experienced.
I’m brand new to Seattle, here only a few weeks, and haven’t chosen my primary care provider yet via my new health insurance and was in need of help with an ear infection.
Their signs say “walk ins welcome”, so I walked in to one at 3PM. They asked if I had an appointment. They couldn’t see me as I didn’t have an appointment, they said.
So she took my information, swiped my credit card (ugh) and scheduled an appointment nearby at the Ballard location.
I was late to the Ballard location appointment, which I understand isn’t their fault.
At the same time, yet again, they couldn’t see me and tried to reschedule me. As in they had no walk in availability.
I’ve been to several urgent cares in my adult life. I’ve NEVER walked out without being seen, even if I had to wait.
The place was also a ghost town. There wasn’t anyone there.
Two locations, one day, no service.
It’s easy to see that this model is NOT an urgent care, it’s a replacement for primary care for people who have poor or non-existent primary care.
Predicted response from their public relations team will be some cute message about a 5 minute policy, and “give us a call if you’re running late!”…
Again, not anyone’s fault but my own that I was late…. But the expectation of an urgent care is that they’ll get you in a resolve your issues…. Not just make you an appointment.
My suggestion? Take down the “walk ins welcome” sign and put up a QR code that says “Scan here to make an appointment”, and put your “Strict 5 minute policy” and set other expectations that way.
I fell down the stairs and needed to find urgent care to see how much damage I did to my foot.
I called during off hours and was able to reach someone through their nurse hotline. They informed me that I could go to this location and they would be able to get me in. I also confirmed with them that they would have the equipment to diagnose the damage to my foot.
I spent a lot of energy and suffered pain to get myself to this location, which said “walkins welcome” on the outside only to be told they are fully booked and cannot take me.
The staff member said they could book me for the morning. I asked them if they have the equipment to look at my foot and they said they don’t at this location.
Disappointment all around.
I made an appointment in the middle of the night after sick for days coming back from a trip. Not sure what happened to their system but this seems to be their M.O. — they dismissed me. They also opened five minutes late, and I made the first appointment. I had to find another urgent care and ended up at UW Urgent Care up the street. Long story short, I was quite sick (non-COVID) — sick enough to be out of work for eight weeks, unable to drive or walk. Their ad during the Olympics is not true — they’re not there for you, walk-ins are not welcome. There’s no triage, just a “go away” attitude. They do not care. Apparently my experience is not isolated bc others have posted similar reviews.
I had an appointment at the Interbay clinic for today. Upon arrival for my appointment, no one was there and the doors were locked. They had a sign on their door that says “try one of our other clinics!” so I drove to the nearby Ballard location and explained the situation. They proceed to tell me that they cannot see me, as I don’t have an appointment at their location. Yet, they have walk-ins welcome signs plastered on their door and in the clinic itself. I was told to try the ER in BELLEVUE if I wanted to be seen by a physician today. This company is a joke.
