During my layover today, I chose to visit this location. At first glance, the chicken appeared somewhat dry; however, when paired with the black beans and salad, it turned out to be quite satisfying. Additionally, I noticed that the staff member taking orders was very polite and courteous to all customers.
This was a terrible experience ????
At 9 AM The cashier took forever to take orders for a long line full of customers. When it was my turn cashier looked at me and walked away from the register to take a break. The other workers started arguing with her to get back to work but she refused. So the person handing off kitchen orders had to finally start taking orders after a 5 minute argument with yer coworkers. While taking my order, she wrote it down incorrectly (no cheese, no peppers, receipt attached) and asked me several times to repeat my order. More time passed as they argued amongst each other. Line growing long, no one taking orders, and order fulfillment from the kitchen continued being delayed. The order was thankfully correct ???? after a long wait.
Got the chicken salad with guacamole (instead of avocado slices) and it was such a large portion of food. Paid about 13.50ish after tax and it was worth every penny and very filling. The dressing is VERY lemon-y so if that is not your cup of tea, I’d recommend having it on the side or a light portion. It was perfect to me and prepared in less than 5 minutes but the wait time may vary as it was much busier when I had passed it at an earlier time.
Expected average airport food. What I got was half the menu items I hoped for was not available. THEN what i eventually ordered was provided with undercooked rice (crunchy rice)
No chips and salsa?

This restaurant is not worthy of Zona Fresca name. The beef was chewy & dry. The rice flavorless. My burrito did not have pico de gallo and they did not even carry salsa.
This is just a fast food Mexican style restaurant at the airport. Super convenient for fast service. Food is enjoyable, even though I have had tastier, even for that type of restaurant. Still, convenient, it does the job for a quick meal before your flight.
Very decent price and food for airport . Tostada salad was huge , wasn’t a big fan of the shell but everything in it was good . I was a bit concern e about the steak being tough but it wasn’t , quite good actually . I took a couple bites before the pic . Could use a bit more seating. Overall a good choice when you have to grab a bite and I did notice many airline employees eating there .
Bean burrito, guac & chips, large evian. Originally ordered fish tacos but they were out of fish. Bean burrito was hot, evian was cold ????????. Chips seemed stale ????????♀️
