Recently arrived for an early dinner with friends and truly enjoyed a fantastic experience.
We arrived between rushes and found the place practically empty, our friends advised this was a rarity.
We were warmly welcomed upon entry. We found the establishment to be clean, modern and in good working order, refreshingly free of any noticable deferred defects.
I found the restroom to be equally clean and well maintained.
The menu seemed expansive and yet straight forward.
The lag time from ordering to our food arriving at the table was minimal at best.
We found our food hot, fresh and delicious.
I enjoyed the spaghetti and meatballs. The pasta was exquisite, cooked to perfection.
While the food was exceptional, the star of the evening was the impeccable service we received, we never needed or wanted anything.
We enjoyed a flawless experience.
Based on our experience, we would highly recommend a visit to Zona 78.
Food was BLAND. Wife had the roasted chicken and they forgot to put seasoning on it. Tasted like boiled (in water) chicken that was crisped in the oven. When we complained the gave the spice blend that was SUPPOSED to have been on it. I got the trout which only had flavor because when they presented it, the vegetables were on TOP of the fish (backwards).
Server admitted they had an older crowd typically and therefore kept the food bland. Great if you want to appeal only to seniors, a massive downside to anyone who wants their food to taste good. The only bonus was that they comped the chicken.
We’ve been going here for over a decade, but things are really sliding. An hour and a half in, relatively empty and they still haven’t served are order. They comped us a few slices of bread and our waiter said, I don’t know what is taking the kitchen so long for your order. Couldn’t rate the food because we haven’t been served.
We had an amazing dinner! I had the prim rib sandwich and my wife had the Thai chicken pizza. Both were amazing with lots of flavor! Plan on bringing our friends back to share our experience!
This place is very busy and for a good reason. The food and service is excellent. The charcuterie board is delicious. We also tried the calamari. It was not fried, instead it was served in a tomato based sauce. It was slightly overcooked but the sauce made up for it. I really enjoyed the Tuscany pizza.
We met here for a work function and were so well taken care of. Food and service were excellent, the restaurant was very accommodating for our gift exchange, and everyone had a great time. The bread is all made in-house and was amazing. We'll definitely be back.
My second time at this place. Great food, awesome service. Seafood lovers must try the wild caught sautéed calamari! The creamy tomato sauce is delicious. Will be back for happy hours!
Good Happy hour prices, we got the Brussels & Bacon and it had a lot of bacon, I would have liked more Brussels as I have seen in other photos. We also got the Tomato & Mozzarella Bruschetta, I would have like my tomato’s a little more ripen. The drinks and atmosphere where were good.
