Laid back, great atmosphere & live music on a Wednesday night. Plus an extended happy hour with recycled carnival rides as decor, what else could you ask for?
Fun place! We just stopped for a drink but it was a good time and a nice atmosphere with friendly people. I sat out on the sidewalk and watched the traffic and people walking by.
Zolas is my favorite place now. A band was playing, the food was outstanding, and the service was amazing! Plus, happy hour all day on Sunday! Are you kidding me?
Outstanding place to listen to great music and hang out with friends. They have booths and tables up front by the music, but you can also stay closer to the front and it’s perfect for conversation. The new owners who took over are doing an excellent job of revitalizing this place and making everyone feel welcome for a good time!

Tonight I had the pleasure of visiting ZOLA, a gem tucked away in Spokane Washington. From the moment I stepped in, I was enveloped in a whimsical, eclectic atmosphere. The interior boasted of an imaginative design, featuring cars from a fair ride and even a boat gracefully hovering over a dining area, which instantly sparked conversations.
But what really sets ZOLA apart is its remarkable service. I was warmly greeted by Jonathon, who generously took the time to give me a tour and share the fascinating background of the venue. It’s not every day you find staff so invested in ensuring you appreciate the essence of the place.
At the bar, Alex showcased an impressive expertise in their craft IPA beer selection - a paradise for beer enthusiasts. His food recommendations were spot on, and he even brought out a gorgonzola sauce to pair with my fries and burger. It was not just a game changer, it was life changing. The sauce added a layer of rich, tangy goodness that left me savoring every bite.
ZOLA is more than just a restaurant/bar/venue; it’s a curated experience where every element, from decor to service, is thoughtfully crafted to leave a lasting impression. It's the kind of place where the staff remembers your name and your favorite drink, making ZOLA feel like a home away from home. The blend of a unique atmosphere, extensive beer selection, and top-notch service makes ZOLA a must-visit when in Spokane.
Great band on Sunday nights. Super laid back environment yet nice enough for a first date. My cocktail was delicious and the classy couple next to me were literally using their fingers to wipe their plates clean. So I guess the food is pretty good.
Our server and the bartender were excellent,, kind when interacting yet invisible as dishes and drinks were constantly being exchanged for new ones.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
Great place for drinks and food with friends! The staff are super friendly and provides fast service! The live band sounds great and plays wonderful music. The rooms are large enough for a group to have their own space will eating, drinking and talking!
It was not as good as the hype about it. My chicken sandwich was overcooked and dry. The fries were good. The artichoke was great. Mocktails and cocktails were good. They had a live band, which was a great band. Overall, it was a good experience but the main entre could've been much better and with how dark the chicken was there's no way the cook didn't know it would be dry. See photo I added
