this is the Zippys we usually dine in all the times. Like the trio chicken / chicken Katsu / Korean chicken plate while my mother get the sandwich’s or fries. Friendly service and will visit again soon.
I don't know what is up with this Zippy's location but the last 3 times our food has been terrible! My food was overcooked! It's getting to where I don't even want to eat there and it used to be my favorite place. PS.. the chicken katsu might look ok or not too bad but believe me it was hard, dry and chewy ????
Great selection of food, especially their Japanese food and sushi were high quality and delicious.
The kids enjoyed it a lot, though it was a little cold for them (they had it set to 72 and the AC must have been right over my son's chair). Staff was friendly and attentive, and if we had had any space left I'm sure their desserts would have been as good as they looked.
The entryway was a little confusing, but they have you sign in via a QR code then wait for a server to seat you.
We landed pretty late and this was one of the only place that was still open till midnight close by our hotel. They had a lot of options on the menu. I got the triple something platter. The price was decent. The portion was good. It was fresh and good. It was a great 1st real meal after all the flights. I recommend
From the time we were greeted at the dine-in area to the time our check arrived our waiter made us feel welcome. It's a shame that I forgot her name as I would like to thank her for making our experience at Zippys a great one. Especially since I was with my friends too she made us have a smooth experience by always coming to check up on us, refilling our cups when we needed, etc. We went on a Friday at around 10am. This is the kind of service that we need nowadays in restaurants. Thank you very much for a pleasant time.
A brighter, cooler Zippy's. With covered parking, an elevator to help your mobility-challenged kūpuna, and a sushi bar on site, it's a more upgraded Zippy's. Sweet service and still a take-out and eat-in side.
Might I just say that I thoroughly enjoyed my time eating here. The restaurant was incredibly clean and sanitary and the service was absolutely top notch.
The pearl city location is the only Zippys with a full on sushi bar attached with a compete separate menu. Everything we ordered (pictured) was amazing. Try the fried noodles with Teri beef and the Korean chicken & chili mixed plate. All were fabulous.
I'll definitely be returning!
Zippys is always my first stop when traveling back home to the Islands. I just want to order everything but here are my Favs, not in particular order
1. Oxtail Soup
2. Fried Chicken, chili, rice
3. Zip min, Saimin or wun tun min
4. Korean fried chicken, chili and rice
5. Chili moco
Order any of these, you can’t go wrong. This is a new location (one I haven’t been to), it’s the only one on the island that serves sushi and alcohol from what my cousins told me. Give them a try, its love at first taste!
