It's been a long time since I liked Zippy's. Zippy's is growing on me again. Went for my thanksgiving meal. Got the turkey and ham combo with mash potatos and dressing with cranberry. Good serving for $18 also got the pumpkin pie. Fast and friendly service. My server was a doll.
Clean restrooms and clean tables and floor. Tess was awesome with my 3 grandchildren and patient as the decided on their food selections and served food still piping hot. We ate the typical breakfast fare: Belgium Waffles, Zippy Omelettes and Korean Fried Chicken.
(9/11/24) I have loved Zippy’s since I can remember but was totally disappointed by the service and quality of the food this morning at the Nimitz location. This morning I was the only customer waiting in line to order aside from a customer waiting for their coffee who left shortly after receiving their order. And the two workers ignored me for a good 4 minutes before 1 worker left and the other finally acknowledged me. I ordered some Korean fried chicken and was disappointed by the quality. It was too hard and it was hard to chew and some was undercook inside. I was surprised by the weird texture of the meat. Upon looking inside the meat was still looking pinkish.
Great food and service. We’ll miss Zippy’s.
I stopped by Zippy's for a quick bite before heading to the airport for a long flight back home, and it was the perfect choice. The restaurant is conveniently located near the airport, making it easy to grab a meal before catching a flight. Despite a sign outside saying "No outside food," I brought a bottled soda from my hotel. Knowing that I could not bring it to the airport, I could not let the soda go to waste. The waitress was super accommodating, letting me enjoy my drink and even bringing me a cup of ice.
I ordered the mini plate Korean fried chicken entree, and to my surprise, the portion was generous—I couldn't even finish it! The chicken was crispy, flavorful, and exactly what I needed before a long journey. Zippy's never disappoints, and I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in town.

I’ve eaten at several different Zippy’s locations throughout the island and this one is my favorite. The servers are always nice and the overall experience is so chill. I usually come for breakfast because it tends to not be too busy, at least on weekdays. My go to breakfast is any meal with rice and Portuguese sausage. If I’m coming here for lunch, I go with the Korean fried chicken. Perfectly fried every time and the perfect portion size. Come here if you want Hawaiian comfort food at a good value.
Came here straight from the airport since they were open until midnight. Food definitely hit the spot. Zippy’s is a chain, I would say it’s the equivalent of Dennys in Oahu. So many choices on the menu and I appreciate that they have mini and regular portions. My go to is normally the loco moco and it didn’t disappoint. The fried noodles was a pretty large portion so we all had some and it was very good too. The Korean fried chicken was super crispy with a sweet flavor. It always good to go with several people and hopefully they share so you can taste a little bit of everything.
They still have barriers between their booths so if feel more comfortable with social distancing and Covid barriers, you’ll be fine here
