5 out of 5 for us. We roll in unannounced with 9 including a 2 year old. The establishment was moderately busy but we were greated by friendly inviting staff immediately. They quickly made seating arrangements for us including a high chair. Christian was our assigned server and couldn't have been any more friendly, inviting and professional then he was. He got us all drinks right away and after he answered a bunch of questions about the menu, he took our orders. The menu was loaded with unique options as well as commonly found items. Christian was very knowledgeable about the menu items and didn't get annoyed at all about all the questions. The food came out quickly, large portions of what seemed to be home made food packed full of flavor and everything on the menu was fairly priced. Christian kept our drinks full and kept check on us without being over bearing. The establishment was large, clean and very well kept, including the restrooms. Can't say enough good things about about this Zipps or Christian. Awesome experience to say the least.
The manager Rose should not be even working in the service industry. It was my birthday. There was approximately 12 of us. We all received our food except for two people. They ordered burgers approximately one hour later after everybody was done eating still waiting for the 2 burgers while other tables that came in after our table we’re getting burgers we questioned it, waitress was trying to accommodate, I got the bill they didn’t even give us a discount. Tried to offer me $20 zip bucks for $30 worth of burgers that were never brought to the table in a timely manner. We had to go back-and-forth with this lady Rose for her to agree to give us $15 each person zip books, but then we realized with her attitude we didn’t even want the food because once we got home and had to reheat it, it was gonna be disgusting and she went right into my face and said she would comp the two burgers, but that I was not welcome back there. Are you kidding me? Terrible customer service when it comes to being a manager, she shouldn’t even have a job there. I cannot remember the waitresses name I know accidents happen and it wasn’t her fault. She was just kind of in the middle of the whole situation. Right
As regular patrons of Zipps, I typically provide both positive and negative feedback as warranted. During our recent dinner and drinks visit with my wife, the overall experience was enjoyable – great food and service. However, a peculiar incident caught my attention.
I noticed the young lady, pictured on this post, took an unsolicited sip from my drink. My waitress was on her way back to us and noticed me looking at her and returned back to rectify an earlier oversight, put our drinks down by the food where the cooks place it to stay warm. It was during this moment that the young lady took a sip from my drink. While I chose not to make an issue of it at the time, it's important to note that this need to be addressed.
I observed her for a while, and she did not have a similar cup of her own. While this incident didn't significantly impact our overall experience, it's worth mentioning as it raises concerns about hygiene practices. I hope this feedback helps maintain the high standards we typically associate with Zipps Sports Bar and Grill.
The food and the service was fantastic!! Our server Mrs Ashley is a kind and friendly lady who loves her job and the people she works with.
The chili cheese fries took me back to Las Vegas as a boy to a tiny spot where you could smell the delicious food about to come.

The food was great, The service was awesome. We like to sit outside by the pit fire because there's less noise. Zipperita had plenty of alcohol. Wine and beer were on point. Outside it says on a sign "no smoking until 10 pm", Unfortunately, the employees go out their back door to take a smoke break and it drifts over to their outdoor seating area making it unbearable. For those in our party with smoke sensitivity this is a deal breaker. Wish there was no smoking by the employees near the seating area. Sad this affected our visit.
This place is absolutely gross, don’t get me wrong the place is nice and all but when I got there the table was still dirty and I literally had to ask for them to clean the table. And my waiter only “cleaned” half of the table until I told her that the other half was still dirty. She was a nice waiter but over all the food was not fully cooked!! It was pink and red and the bone was red and pink how do you get the freaking bone to turn pink?! That’s absolutely disgusting!!
It’s not a kids friendly environment neither is it a place to take kids with mental health like ADHD. Rose the manager yelled 4 benches down to get my child off the bench.. I was attending my other children during this episode. I’m upset at the fact that she didn’t take the time to get to my table and speak directly to me. Specifically being in the position that she is. I’m paying not only for the FOOD but the SERVICE as well. Horrible management. Disgusted.
It saddens me to even write this poor review but… my girlfriend’s and I usually love coming to Zipps and have been regulars for years. Last week we visited this location and I ordered their wings. Immediately I noticed the wings did not seem properly cooked and especially it being chicken, there was obvious pink inside the meat. I asked our waitress if she can get me a new order and to make sure they are cooked all the way and she was short with me and said “they are cooked” . I was shocked at her response and for the first time In my life I asked for a manger because I was started to become upset by the situation. The female manager was…. Let’s just say extremely lacking people and customer service skills. Not even willing to hear that the wings were clearly not cooked, but she was argumentative from the beginning, made me feel like I was lying about the situation, said they have cameras and were watching me which is creepy…. Then she said “The wings are cooked and cooked to standard” I kept asking her to please look inside these wings and see for yourself that they’re not cooked and they’re still pink! She literally said “I see them and I don’t know what you’re talking about” I am just so taken back by this experience and never in my life ever encountered service like this. Just saddened by this because I hope that maybe both the waitress and manager were having a bad day… But I just feel sorta attacked and felt like they were blaming me when all I asked was… please make sure my wings are thoroughly cooked???? ????
