I arrived with my service dog and sat on the patio because it was a nice evening. A server informed me that NO dogs are allowed, but since we were on the patio, he would allow it. According to the ADA and Arizona law, service animals are allowed in all public spaces. Ironically, my dog lay underneath the table completely silent while two tables of children ran around the patio and made messes all over. My server never came back to ask about refills, and the place was only half full. The unisex bathroom was in disarray as well. The last time I was here with my dog, things were good. This time, not so much. I will probably not be back with my service dog.
Great place to watch a game. Plenty of TVs with all the games on somewhere. Food is solid, we love the chicken skewers. Solid drink specials for GameDay and happy hours. Our faves are their icebergs, draft beer with a topping of margarita! Yum! ????
Service was on point! Started out at a table behind the host stand. So packed early on football on Sunday. The waitress was very nice, then found a corner spot at the bar. The bartenders were awesome serving drinks like there was no tomorrow. I met an older gentleman (retired) Green Bay Packer Fan. Then, a cool dude named Eddie sat down between Cowboys Fan like me. It's just an all-around good spot to watch football games.
First time at Zipps (McClintock & Warner), we went right as they opened at 11am. Bar grill vibe with great 80's music playing, lots of sports memorabilia on the walls and a dozen or so big t.v's around. They have booth, table, bar and outdoor seating. The menu had lots of appetizers, salads, sandwiches and burgers. My friend (BC) and I had the Bacon BBQ burger, which was huge and deliciously juicy! The meat to bun ratio was in favor of the meat. She had the in-house made french fries, they were very good. I had the onion rings, which were made in-house too, but had a thick batter that made them a little hard and crunchy. I will go with the fries next time. Our server, Carli was sweet, patient, and helpful with my menu questions and always checking on us. Great food & service. We will be back.
Went in on a Friday night and had a great experience. Food was your typical bar fare but the service was above par. Cam had such a great attitude and you could tell he really liked his job. They were so busy but he always had a smile on his face.
Pizza cookie was burnt, so we ate the middle; food was just OK this time. We used to love this place.
although everyone was nice and friendly the service was SO SLOW. took 15 minutes to be greeted. the food was great but after server came to check on our food i never saw her again. had to go ask the host to grab her so we could get our check because we needed to leave. we spent 40 minutes waiting for our check before I went and asked someone. I’m a server and it’s painful to experience this lack of service. i’m usually not critical of this kind of thing but it was bad…. maybe just work on some urgency at this location?
The waitress did a horrible job. She got my order wrong. I ordered mild buffalo wings and ended getting sweet barbecue. Waited 20 minutes for our food. The wings were cold. The waitress hardly check up on us or completely forgot about our table. At the end another waitress came and helped us out to close our tabs. She asked who was our waiter and our waitress was no where to be found. The new waitress went to the back to go ask who was our original waiter. When she came back she told us that nobody knew who our waiter was. Most likely was covering for her so she wouldn’t get in trouble with that response. Will not be coming back. Really bad service.
