Shame on you Zipps. This is the second time this has happened so I can finally say I am officially done here. I ordered take out for an order of wings. 10 wings and extra crispy.. doesn't seem too difficult. Instead I got 10 pale and completely soggy wings. Absolutely disgusting. You couldn't pay me the 20 dollars I paid for this food to eat this!!
We used to love Zipps, and we would go one a week. Our closest location is at 16th, and Bethany Home declined over the last couple of years. The Zipparitas we my wife's favorite, but last time we could not stomach it. Today, we decided to give them another try at a different location at Park Central in Phoenix. We could not even drink the Zipparitas because they we so wretched we could not drink them. After getting our waitress attention and ordering a beer and screwdriver, she sent the manager over. The manager said that this is their new recipe and we would not be compensated. We said that was fine because we could not drink them. We will not go back to Zipps ever again! We typically go out 4 to 5 times a week and have much better places in Phoenix to go to. Ordered our burgers med rare, and they were well done, and fries were cold.
Excellent Sports Grill, superb service, and great food!
We were greeted right away and sat in the middle of the dining room. Marta was our server; she was informative, enthusiastic, and super friendly. The atmosphere is exactly what you would want from a sports bar, with seating available on the covered terrace, open-air dining room, or bar. Family friendly.
They have a great happy hour, including $3 pizza slices that are massive. We ordered a Bacon Cheeseburger, Reuburger, Spinach Salad, two slices of pizza and the cookie skillet! All were great, fresh and tasty ingredients.
Thank you Marta and staff!
I’ve been here before, so when we returned, we were hoping for a good time. Four of us went and the service was not good. Took forever to get a beverage, good order was incorrect and slow plus there was a hair in one of our food items. Kinda disappointing
The Black and blue burger was pretty delicious. Definitely recommended ????????. Great server, and the drinks were decently priced during happy hour. Will be returning!
A short girl with glasses and the male bartender were extremely rude. Not only were they rude to the customers but they are rude to their own co workers. She looked like she was mad for having to teach the other bar tender how to do her job. Shouldn’t hire people that aren’t willing to better others. We could feel the energy from outside the room. Should probably consider who you hire. People come to the bar to relax not to feel more stress.
Disappointing Experience – Avoid This Place!
I recently visited this sports bar in Arizona with high hopes, having traveled quite a distance just to enjoy a good time. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the worst experiences I've ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were met with an unwelcoming attitude from the staff. It took an eternity for our drinks to arrive, and when they finally did, the waitress acted as if we were inconveniencing her.
The atmosphere was far from what we expected, and the service was downright rude. Instead of enjoying the game and our meal, we ended up feeling frustrated and let down. There are plenty of other sports bars out there that know how to treat their customers right—save your time and money and steer clear of this one!
This experience was amazing! For the adults they had games and for kids there was also great stuff we also had their boozike was amazing!!!! Kids had burgers was amazing for 21 plus ppl they had a variety of beers and they were delicious I recommend the zipparitas! But it was a over all great experience! 10/10 recommend
