DO NOT COME TO THUS LOCATION. Last night my dad and I came came in and I was absolutely SHOCKED by what the manager said to us. He came after us saying that we “upset the server” because we told her what was wrong with our order (everything came out incorrectly). The floor manager came to us saying we “upset his server” and we were floored. I have previously worked for zipps as well. To come after us is the most difficult ridiculous thing ever. While he did correct our food and comped us drinks, I am still so disappointed, and quite frankly hurt. I emailed the tip line for a complaint AND THEY SAID we came after her. How can you not understand the situation? It was also unprofessional the server avoided us until the check dropped. It’s not hard to fix your mistakes, let alone to AVOID us. Utterly displeased and will not be returning to ANY location after this.
Man I am so disappointed. I go to Zipps on 32st Shea...love it! I was at work and wanted chicken tenders with fries. The Frankloyd location is where I placed my order. Staff was polite, but not genuine. I got my order NO napkins, NO ketchup...just the box in a bag. I'm on a time limit so I attempt to eat fries and they are SO SO greasy and the oil tastes old... Just not palatable...the chicken wasn't any better. ???? Waste of money, just threw it out when I got back to work.
At happy hour they have a 32 ounce beer for six bucks. I've been coming here for years but I have yet to find any food that is good. Today I ordered a mixed basket of french fries and onion rings. The onion rings are so cold and tough they are hard to chew. Fries cold and soggy. Are used to have a restaurant and french fries were sold by "grade", these are a very cheap grade. It seem like they were cooked hours ago and have been sitting there. The pizza has some kind of harsh tasting shredded cheese on top. What I do enjoy and I find to be a worthwhile deal are there chicken skewers during happy hour. They are lightly breaded, all white meat and are very good. The wait staff is always amazing.
Update: Manager did not charge for the fries and rings.
Amazing chicken wings! Our server Lauren was so attentive and made us feel so welcome! Her drink recommendations were amazing! We will definitely be back!
Zipps is one of my all-time favorites. The golden BBQ wings are always good. Their pizza is great and I have never had anything that I haven't enjoyed. This location's food was great. The service we got was terrible though. We had wings fries and pizza and would have had a cookie if our waiter was a bit more attentive. Slow, forgetful and generally unconcerned with our table. I'd actually told the waiter at the beginning of the meal that we wanted dessert. We changed our minds and ate ice cream at home. Waiters at other tables seemed on top of things, so I don't know if he is just bad or didn't want us there. It really could have gone either way. Food was good. It just took all night to get to my table. Do better folks.
Sports bar, overpriced sportsbar. I ordered extra crispy wings and a cocktail $32 without tip.
Wings were ordered extra crispy but were soggy as a mop in monsoon rain. Tasty but soggy and not what I ordered nor specified. The soggy chicken was bigger than most wings.... if I wanted boiled chicken legs I could have gone elsewhere or ordered a turkey leg from the corner. For 12 Tyrannosaurus sized soggy wings, I got 1.5 tablespoons of ranch. They offered to make the wings better, but as a rule, I never send food back understanding the risk..
Service; Alexis was great, but with the pricey uninspired food...I left disappointed..1 star
This place has great bar food, is a great place to watch a game and has a good environment. The service is above average and pricing is decent. The have a fantastic happy hour and the zipparitas are awesome. Very family friendly place that is great neighborhood visit.
Well I almost ate here until the girls that work here were kind of smart As@#. Because I wasn't drinking I was just getting something to eat and they acted mad when I got a menu and was looking at the menu and they asked me for something to drink and I told them twice that I wasn't drinking maybe they thought they weren't going to make any money on me but I plan on eating and leaving a good tip because I work on those too but I'm a driver and I don't drink but I guess if you don't drink you can't eat here either I've ate it the other establishments and I like them really well and I thought it was really good but apparently it's not the same here So not a problem to go somewhere else.
