Zipps is a cool spot to eat, drink, and watch a game. The service is good and the patio is nice. I went twice this week - first, I had a Westrrn BBQ burger and then a chicken burrito. The burger was too big but still flavorful - I liked it. The fries and onion rings were a bit lacking in flavor, and both seemed a bit stale. Dipping them in the BBQ sauce helped. The chicken burrito, while very flavorful, was surprisingly small. The tortilla chips were perfect, though. The guacamole was very good, but the salsa was a bit flavorless. The desert was OK - the ice cream was great, but the brownie was only OK. The Dos XX on tap was perfect - very cold!
Overall, I still like the place. My only real issue was really with the fries, which seems to be an afterthought anywhere you go.
Have been here many times. Went there tonight, with my service dog(says they’re allowed on the fence). They wanted to ask me if she was a service dog multiple times. Which I have the paperwork for. I come to a restaurant to relax and eat not be hassled! So just left. I come here with a party of 8-15 people each time. We will never come back. Food is good, but their service sucks! Last time the food was ultra late too. If you want a friendly atmosphere, this is not the place!
I’ve been to other locations before, but this was our first time at this particular one. We were greeted promptly and sat down at a booth. The restaurant is very spacious, clean, and very well kept. They also have some good “oldies” on their playlist. We started with the pretzel dough bites with cheese, which was phenomenal - the dip tasted mixed with garlic, it was amazing flavor. For my entree, I had the BBQ chicken sandwich which was also good. Overall, very happy and we’ll be back. The service was a little slower/distant than we would have liked, but to be fair, we were seated behind a wall, and the server had us as a section, the area behind the wall, and also some outside patio seating.
Overall, it's a nice place to go, but unfortunately, it's not my kind of food. great atmosphere, and friendly staff, but I feel as though they're trying too much to be unique. Which props to them for trying to stand out, but I guess I'm just not a fan of that when it comes to food. My burger was cooked well, but the flavor was just off for me. And the appetizers were the unique stuff I was mentioning. It's ok...
It's a sports bar, right?
Heisman trophy ceremony was on one little TV in the corner of the bar, and they were cranking dance music.
Priorities need to be adjusted. Saturday night, fine. I'ts the heisman trophy!!! This is a big deal and should have been on a few screens, especially the large one, with audio. I guess it's too easy just to put on a playlist, and yeah, let it roll. Other than that, I love the place.
Got two of their salads and some ice cold beers. I had the club Rachel had a ranch salad. They were delicious. Of course they have an extensive menu with lots of choices, we just wanted something lite. Great sports bar ????
Worst pizza I've ever had. Super overpriced. Only thing they tried to add for flavor was grease. Never felt grosser from eating two slices of anything. If Zipps catered for an elementary school the kids would be wishing for their lunch ladies after this abomination of a pizza. I'd describe Zipps as PIZZAA which stands for price inflation zone zero appetite afterwards. I'm glad they brought me wet wipes so I could use something to wipe my tears away. Wish my stomach and my heart good luck on this drive home. Also, go Cardinals ????
I no longer recommend this place, management has gone down hill and the service has suffered. This is a great addition to the neighborhood - great bar good that is reasonably priced! The place is always clean and the TVs provide an amazing environment to watch games! From bartenders lend Lisa and Chris to all of the staff, it is a very Cheers like place that includes engaged managers that spend time getting to know you and appear to take pride in learning your name. For being a neighborhood establishment, the meet the bill and make you feel welcome and right at home.
