I have been going to Zipps since 2000. Every time we have visitors in town, we take them here for dinner. I’m so addicted to their sweet jalapeño dip that I consistently get the Monaco foccia.
I have gotten the Monaco to go twice in the past week, and both times the sweet jalapeño sauce had a thick layer of oil or something floating on top. So disgusting and ruins the whole reason why I go here. Normally their food is pretty consistently good. Lately it’s been constantly bad (because of the sauce). Is it old? Did they change their recipe? Now that I know it’s not a one off mistake, I won’t be going back anytime soon. Maybe other locations are better…
I know this a Sports bar chain in PHX, but it’s always a great place to watch a game and have a cold beer. The Kierland location is my preferred, but I’m sure all of them are similar. It may sound simple and basic, but the chicken skewers are excellent for what they are. Skewered Chicken that has a light panko coating and is fried to perfection. The wings and hand cut fries are a nice snack, too. Make sure to top off your beer with a splash of frozen margarita.
This place is an awesome for sports. The staff are attentive and get to know their customers quickly. I enjoy the food and drink. My friends Paul and Shayna introduced me to this place and I can see why they like it so much. I'll be visiting again.
The latest upgrade remodel of this location has really improved the atmosphere. It's 2-3 times larger then previous and a very open layout with large TVs everywhere. Plenty of large tables for large parties. The service was great and on a Friday at dinner time they had an army hustling around. The food was fresh and hot. Chicken wings were nice large pieces and not overcooked. Try the pretzel bites - nothing special about them but cheese sauce was awesome.
My husband and I had a great lunch at ZIPS...while my car was being serviced at the dealership. Perfect timing ...we were just finishing delicious salads when the "all done" text came in.

Service was excellent.
Best wings and best frozen Margheritas. Make sure to sit at the bar for the best service. I love the golden wings mild extra crispy. Ive done take out 3 times too. Always been great. Getting a table has been a little slow though..
Not the Zipps I remember from back in the day. However, the golden wings are still on point! They have good happy hour deals and have taken away the games to accommodate the growing community.
I recommend this place for wings with friends.
The food is good but dear God the service is so bad. Literally the slowest service I’ve ever had. Waited 15 minutes for someone to even get to our table. Another 30 min for one round of drinks to be delivered. Couldn’t bring the kids food out before the rest of the food. Just bad from start to finish.
