Best WLM Reviews

My husband and I stayed 3 nights while exploring Zion. We had a cabin on the north side of the road and it was clean and very quiet at night. I really liked the front porch swing; the ranch dog and some mule deer both came to visit! |We did a trail ride at the ranch that was very nice. We did not eat at the restaurant - we mostly ate in Springdale or at the Lodge in the park. Having the mini fridge and microwave was great for snacks and leftovers. Perfect if you want scenic quiet!
Absolutely loved this place! The east side is remote and not touristy, which is exactly what we wanted. Property is stunning and we really loved our cabin. We loved all the dogs, horses, goats, and chickens running around and catching the sunset over the peaks of the park every day. Restaurant was cozy and delicious. Such a dreamy place.
Zion was the last stop on our Utah Mighty 5 vacation. We were looking forward to our 3 night stay at Zion Mountain Ranch and having convenient access to Zion National Park and the amazing trails. We ended up leaving a day early as we were disappointed with the property and did not want to stay another night. As mentioned in other reviews (I should have read those before booking!), the entrance to Zion National Park is only a few miles from the ranch - but that is to the East entrance and you have a good 40-60 minute drive to reach the visitors center where the shuttles operate. ||While we understood that staying in a cabin is somewhat "rustic", the furnishings were dated and worn, and could use a deep cleaning along with the entire cabin - especially the bathroom. On both mornings, there was a cluster of spiders in the tub. There was a coffee maker in the room along with sweeteners, cups, etc. but no coffee. I asked at the front desk and was told that they were having an issue with a supplier but I could get a cup in the restaurant (along with ice as there are no ice machines available to guests) when they opened at 7am. The first morning I did stop by to get a cup of coffee and had to wait 15 minutes to even get acknowledged by staff. This really puts you behind if you are trying to get to the park early.||The accommodations were not where they should be based on the price paid. I would not recommend Zion Mountain Ranch.
I did not stay at the ranch. I did a one hour sunset horseback ride with one of their guides. My horse's name was Precious and she certainly was precious! It was really fun and he takes throughout the ranch to some awesome viewpoints. The colors of the sky at sunset with the mountains looked unreal. It was so beautiful.
Highly recommend the ride even if you are not staying at the ranch.
Located just outside the East side of Zion National Park, it was a perfect place to rest between our full hiking days in the park. The cabins are clean, comfortable and affordable. The views are breathtaking and sunsets. Enjoyed my morning coffee on the porch, actually anytime of the day. Make sure you chose your cabin and make a reservation well in advance.||Try their restaurant called Cordwood. Fresh, delicious food.
This property and surroundings are amazing. The store, restaurant and family dogs, horses and chickens are priceless. The restaurant has amazing food, atmosphere and views.
The property and cabins are amazing. However, the presentation of what they are trying to sell you upon booking is not what the rooms actually provide. For $250 a night there are some basic things that one would expect like a coffee pot that is not the seven dollar Walmart coffee pot, no mugs or utensils or plates in the mini kitchen that they advertise. We don’t watch TV but our TV did not work. Overall, the interior of the cabin was extremely rustic and basic…
I tried to reach out to the owner to give feedback directly, but no response which doesn’t surprise me because if you look through all the reviews here there’s no response from the business on most of these reviews which speaks volumes. Great location, but may be worth half the price.
I wish I could give this place 10 stars! What an amazing experience we had here. I spent two nights at Zion Mountain Ranch at the end of the summer and it far exceeded my expectations. The place is absolutely gorgeous. Our cabin was really nice and well kept. The grounds were beautiful and serene and it was really fun to see all of the animals (especially the two adorable dogs that hang out near the main building). I was also incredibly impressed by the food - I would call myself a pretty picky eater and I found the food at the restaurant to be absolutely delicious. The staff was also incredibly friendly and accommodating. Can't recommend this place enough!
We stayed here for one night on the East side of Zion. I probably would not have stayed here just driving by it but we enjoyed the little cabin. Ours was sort of sitting on a slant, lol. But it was cozy. We ate dinner here, and it was one of the best dinners we had during our 10 day trip through Utah. I highly recommend eating here too. We did a short hike nearby called belly of the dragon, fun short hike! We were going to check out the nearby state park but didn't have enough time before dark. Overall we enjoyed our stay here!
