Once a month I get a Gondola sandwich on Mondays during their Monday special. The sandwich I got tonight was nothing like it usually is. They put very few pieces of meat or cheese and even cut back on the lettuce. I cut off a six inch portion or so and there was 6 pieces of shredded lettuce. so disappointing having to eat a bread sandwich. Don't know that I will be coming here anymore.
Love this place , my boyfriend knows how much I love meatballs and started taking me to this place when I come to spend a couple of weeks with him every month.
My favorite place for Italian and they have the best meatballs !!!!
We also at one time had their calazone. Which was also fantastic. !!!
Will continue to go back !!!
Our first visit was stellar! We were very impressed with the quality of the food. We will be eating here again in the future.
Server had an attitude towards me & my family but treated another customer with respect and a smile, denied us the right to eat in the restaurant because we ordered a family meal deal even though the place was empty. I would give 0 stars if i could!
This place is great. The service is exceptional and the garlic bread… SO GOOD!!!! I recommend trying this place off like Italian food. Guaranteed to make your day.
I came in for dinner and enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. You can tell the employees love their jobs when they are having fun cleaning the bathrooms. The owner (?) kept me laughing while I waited ony food.
Ordered the Family Feast meal. In the spaghetti bucket, I got not even a quarter of spaghetti sauce. It was mostly noodles. I'm sorry, but if a restaurant can't hire competent people or at least managers that over look their employees than they should close up shop and go home. Their ratings are probably paid for. Their sauce is bland as chewing on a dog bone. They are only succeeding is because the are the only spaghetti house that delivers. If you order from here. Don't tip the driver. 5 dollar delivery charge is more than enough. If that is not going to the driver. I'm sorry, but ten to fifteen dollars to GrubHub or Doordash is repulsive. Time for us to wise up with our money. Get people back to work the right way. Get businesses in check or make them close. Just my opinion. Do what you want. 8/23/2024--Gave them another chance try twice. First time I got a Diet Pepsi when just ordering a Pepsi. Second time they over-filled the bucket with noodles and it exploded in the bag. The big kicker is that the manager delivered it. Never again for this place!
This used to be a "go to" restaurant every time we were in the Cedar Rapids area. We were meeting up with friends on this visit and were the only ones in the restaurant for nearly our entire visit. The waitress was great, and thankfully she told us about lunch specials which weren't on the menu. Serving sizes were good and the quality was just ok. My daughter got fettuccine alfredo, but did not like it. I had the meatballs and spaghetti which wasn't the best I had, but it was good for the price. We all liked the garlic bread that came with our meals.
