Desserts were really good. But I think if you've eaten in Europe, you may find this place a little lacking. But we ate a nice waffle, far above American standards. prices are average. The place is very hot. The employees were also very kind. I think this is the best place around :)
Zinneken's Belgian Waffles is a small cafe located in the heart of Cambridge's Harvard Square, with other locations scattered throughout the Northeast.
We came on a weekday for lunch, and there wasn't much people inside the cafe, but it began to fill up when we were leaving. The staff were friendly, and walked us through the menu and types of waffles. Unfortunately they only had one type of waffle, but that didn't deter us from eating there.
They offer a pre-made version and a build your own type, but we decided to stick with eating the premade ones. We got the Banana & Nutella (The Sin) and the Strawberry & Chocolate (The Glamour). They were both decently sized for the price, and came out pretty quickly. There was good portions of the toppings, and the waffle was pretty light and went well with the toppings.
Overall, a good quick bite or chill place to stop in for a little while.

I ordered the waffles with strawberries and chocolate drizzle (Strawberry Galmour) along with the Belgian Speculoos Latte. Both were very delicious! And I can't wait to try the other waffles and drinks they have.
It is very nice and cozy inside and has big windows. I'd bring a book here and enjoy my sweet treat next time. The staffs are so nice and have such sweet smiles. It just feels very comforting.

This is one of those small cafes that's loved among locals but not among the most people. As soon as you enter the cafe, the smell of waffle wakes you up for coffee and dessert. Inside atmosphere is very relaxing and cozy with nice open views though big windows. Highly recommend if you are around harvard square area.
Lovely little place. Conveniently located near Harvard square, so it’s a great place to get refreshed with their waffles and teas after touring the area. Love the texture of the interior decor.
Best place to have tasty waffles & do your work. My friends & I loved this place, we spent a lot of time here. Loved the classic zinneken’s belgian waffle !!!
Tiramisu latte wasn’t great, I liked the sea salt caramel toffee coffee.
They did not have WiFi though !!!
The waffle was just ok. I think the toppings and their pairing werent just to my liking. The oreos were overly sweet and the raspberries were a bit old and did not add any tartness to the dessert. The service was a little slow as there were only two people managing the whole operation and they were making everything to order.
Busy place, rightfully so, the waffles are amazing, freshly made per order, the store is small so there is limited seating, parking is also limited in the area is paid by the hour. The take away it packed really nicely and still amazing to enjoy after a while. Took a picture while already halfway through!
