We had a good meal. They have both indoor and outdoor dining. The bar was lively and loud, but the dining area was quieter for a romantic meal. Fairly straight forward French cuisine and oyster bar. Food was well prepared and presented. The desserts were limited but outstanding. Overall very reasonable prices, though not cheap.
The beef bone marrow with truffles added was really delicious. Truffles was probably $65 more, making this dish about $100. The citrus crush mock tail was very good. The duck leg was too dry. The chicken dish was flavorful and tender but a bit salty.
Would first like to say our waiter Frank made our experience incredible, he provided great service! We were in the mood for some French, so found this gem. The Duck Confit was amazing and the steak was cooked to perfection. Will come back when in town!
I've dined at Zinc Bistro few times and I've always been very impressed with the food, service and the ambiance but tonight was not the same. I had a crispy skin salmon dish. The fish was cooked to perfection and it was delicious but the trimmings around the fish were frankly not really compatible with the fish. They overpowered the taste of the fish and I left most of it but I did finish the fish. Everything else was great. I would have loved to give a five star for the food but on this occasion I can't. The service was good but not great. We were still working on the appetizer when the main course arrived.
Great food, solid menu, very good service. Not listed were the sea bass, the specials white fish. Parking is the only issue. Great dining. We have fine many times, especially with guests.
I told my friend I wanted French food in the desert and Zinc Bistro did not disappoint. I was able to practice my French with the hostess, which caught me off guard, and my waitress understood minimal French but put forth a fun effort. The food and wine list were also to par! The leftovers were even better lol
It's a cute little place. A bit crowded and loud. The wait staff was nice and attentive. They had a little bit of a timing issue with our food, nothing bad, overall very good service. We got the charcuterie board, the duck, the dinner for two and the filet mignon the food was all excellent. The cuts of meat were excellent. Even the person who ordered well done count cut their steak with their fork. We also go the chocolate souffle and crem brulee. Real vanilla beans, very well done. Would go back any time.
