The appetizers and dessert were excellent. We had deep-fried curds and smoked turkey for an appetizer and deep fried Oreos for dessert. The smoked turkey was so moist, tender and flavorful and the carmel sauce for the curds made it so we could not stop eating them. What a clever idea. The service was very enjoyable, friendly and very helpful. I'll be going back there my next visit to The Dalles.
First time ordering delivery, was very happy with the little-to-no wait time. The delivery driver was hella chill and everything was spot on. Definitely a return customer :))
Excellent service and yummy food. Pleasant atmosphere, as we stopped for a bite to eat on our way through the Dalles after a long day of driving. Waitress was pleasant & attentive. Second time eating at this restaurant and ordering the keto meatballs; once again they did not disappoint! We also had the smoked salmon Caesar salad & the halibut sandwich ????????Would definitely recommend eating here.
I am a truck driver and a HUGE sports fan. Especially when it concerns my Denver Nuggets or Broncos. I called this bar to see if they could get the game between the Nuggets and the Cleveland Cavaliers. The pleasant young lady on the phone, after looking for it, said no it was blacked out in their area. Not surprising, because it was not a nationally televised game. But to my surprise, about 20 minutes later, the young lady called me back and said she found the game. She said she would reserve a spot for me at the TV, where it was on! AMAZING! Give that girl a raise! Many people (and most women) don't realize how dedicated us true sports fans are. Now, I never made it to the bar because I got hung up in traffic and getting fuel. But that small gesture is to be commended, and I will remember to stop next time I'm passing through. Thank you for doing your job and taking care of your customers.
We had an excellent meal, nice cold beer, and great service. Everything we've eaten here has been great. Tonight we had the ribeye, but we've also had their burgers, sandwiches, and fried foods. Everything has been excellent.
My wife and I live 60 miles away. We try to visit Zims once a month just for the music. We have eaten breakfast, lunch and dinner there on more then one occasion. The service has always been good, and there prices are more then reasonable. In over ten years I can count on one hand how many meals we have had that were not at the standard we are used to having there.

Visited in December and the service was terrible. The woman literally ignored our table.when we did manage to flag her down she was rude. By the time we got our food, it was cold. She never came back to refill drinks.
We stopped in tonight to try again, but the same server was working, so we left.
Food, drinks & service were great. Fast and friendly staff even with a packed house. They had live music and the band was awesome. Everyone there seemed to be enjoying themselves. Will definitely be back!
