It's been a long time since I been to Ziffles and I must say it's as good as I remember. I had the half rack of ribs. Reasonably priced and its a full rib, tips and all. Very meaty and the sauce was an excellent company to the rib. Also, we had the pork tenderloin, this was huge and full of flavor. Most definitely a recommend.
This was our first time there and for once the rumors were true. This is truly a hidden gem in Fort Wayne. My husband and I went for a date night but next time we will probably take the kids because they have family dining separate from the bar.
It really felt like a BBQ dive when we walked in the place. We had decided to try as much as we could our first trip so we started with a cheese-fries appetizer. We probably should ha e gotten the half plate since it was just the 2 of us because this plate could have easily fed 4 to 6 people. It has the option of adding bacon or pulled pork. We went for bacon and was not disappointed!
Next, I tried the "pig out platter" so that we could try a little of everything. Again, we could have just split that, it was so big, but my husband wanted to try their sausage roll (a Midwest favorite) and he absolutely loved it. We shared everything and ended up taking quite a bit home with us for lunch the next day. The sausage roll does come in a half size but he wanted the leftovers for lunch. LOL
10/10 will definitely go again and DO recommend!
I normally LOVE Ziffles. I ordered a lunch rib snack. They are always fall off the bone delicious. The meat was so tough I couldn't get it off of the bone. I brought it to the attention of the server and she just blew me off. She said it must be the pigs fault and she had not had any other complaints. I give them another try but this visit was a failure.
This place has the best wings. I usually feel like many places don’t use enough sauce, but Ziffles does. They also have amazing fried pickles. They’re fried perfectly with the pickle still juicy inside. My boyfriend had the ribs and loved them, as well.
Lunch with my son last week. Sat in bar service was great . Ziffelboli was awesome as usual, best cole slaw in town. Fries golden brown and hot . Love the 1$ drafts. Keep on keeping on .
Best ribs in town hands down. Generous portions so price fits. Amazing salads, pizzas, rolls & sandwiches. Pickle spear apps are terrific! Pic of Tuesday rib tip basket special.
I've enjoyed their food for over a decade, the best BBQ sauce in town and I think the best ribs too! This was my first time actually dining in and everything was delicious.
Horrible, went here 10/4/24 ribs were burnt, customer service were horrible , went in the bathroom flies and nets were everywhere and crap was in the toilet. The French fries were gross and tasted like they’re cooked in old grease, confronted the owner of this building and she got smart with me and said “Well that’s how we serve them” and I pointed at the meat that was burnt and she said “That’s not burnt.”
