Best WLM Reviews
The food is great. The pepper-salted squid is a must-have if you are a calamari fan. Any of the sizzling plates gives a little experience of being in the kitchen with the aroma and sound of food cooking on a wok.
beef & broccoli ???? and my company had the fried chicken ???? she also had the spring rolls with shrimp ????/pork.
and, I had the vegi salad rolls.
Some of the flavors in so many of the dishes have become comfort food to me over the years for so many reasons. Read the reviews very tasty, large portions , likeable staff, very reasonably priced, quick service, open late. This restaurant has been in the same place for ever. Change is good. But if you have a amazing recipe consistency = longevity. Thank you again for dinner one more amazing time. Love :)
This has been my favorite restaurant for 30+ years. The food is always delicious, and Jennifer is super great! 1000/10. I recommend getting the salt & pepper squid with fish sauce for dipping. Best I’ve ever had and will probably ever have. ????
Both the General Tso chicken and Salt and Pepper Tofu were dry. The flavor was average General Tso, but the tofu was mediocre at best. Disappointing that for $19, no rice included. Hopefully it was just an off night.
Appreciate the very large portion sizes (seriously two people could split a dish) and friendly staff here. It wasn’t too busy on a Friday and there’s a fair amount of space inside. The dishes did lean a little sweet, but overall the flavors were good and clean. I thought the hot and sour soup and mapo tofu could be a little spicier, but that’s my preference.
Chicken with hot spicy garlic sauce was very tasty. Large portions, plenty for left overs or to share.
We ordered 5 entrees. By far, the garlic shrimp was my favorite (2). The orange chicken was really good. The orange chicken comes with a little "kick" (spice) to it (1). Also, the pork fried rice was delicious (1). Lastly, the beef & broccoli, but I did not get a chance to try it (1). My companions spoke very highly of it & was quickly devoured. The broccoli was cooked extremely well. The service was extremely good and accommodating. I was very impressed by the food and the service. They deserve this 5-star rating.
