We’ve just moved to Toledo temporarily, and everyone has been recommending this restaurant, so we decided to give it a try for dinner. The restaurant is quite spacious with outdoor seating, and it’s beautifully decorated. We started with the antipasto salad, which was on the smaller side and topped with diced chicken—an interesting twist. My husband ordered the lasagna, which he enjoyed, while I had the chicken parmesan with spaghetti. The chicken was great, but the spaghetti was a bit bland. Our server, Olivia, was incredibly sweet and attentive, making our meal even more enjoyable.
First time visiting this restaurant. As you would expect the wait staff was friendly and we were seated relatively prompt. The inside of this restaurant has a really nice aesthetic and it's located on the river. The food itself was pretty good. The chocolate cake is definitely not a cake it's a chocolate brownie.
The food was absolutely amazing! I came for my birthday on 6/6/24! Melissa was so sweet and kind. She’s a star. She explained the menu very well, and she’s great to have conversations with! Cant wait to come again!
I had to edit my previous review down to a 3. We know the food is really good and the atmosphere is great, views even better. I don't agree with sitting at the bar and not being greeted by anyone for 15 minutes. Not the host, not a bartender, not a server. We got up and left.
Great Italian food! Both of our meals were very tasty and service was awesome. Everything came out in a timely matter and food was delicious. Definitely will go back again to try something else off there menu. Beautiful views of the river, and cosey atmosphere.
My girlfriend took me here for my birthday and we were expecting a solid dinner experience and drinks. We are avid restaurant goers and love new places. When we arrived Julian was our server, and let me just start with he gave us hands down the best service I have ever experienced. He recommended a few things and he hit the nail on the head on every single one. He even brought us out some lightly lit candles which we thought was awesome and romantic. The food was absolutely phenomenal and large portions. I have recommended Zia’s and Julian as your server to all my friends and family. We will definitely be coming back frequently and only asking for Julian!
Enjoyed the hostess, our waiter, the food and the atmosphere. It is also right on the water. We will definitely be going back and sit outside next to the river in warmer weather. Chicken parm and pesto were good. The house salad was excellent. The complimentary bread was also really good. Decent selection of wine.
The moment we opened the door, I felt transported to Italy! The aroma welcoming me was amazing! The food was flawless. The music was soothing. The staff was attentive. I can't praise this restaurant enough! Already planning a night back for dinner.
