Best WLM Reviews
Great location in Ascot. Food was fabulous and so was the customer service. Will definitely go back
Absolutely wonderful experience. Great service from Gemma. Marvellous food from Giovanni. The wine was lovely too. We had a mix of main course dishes (pasta with salmon, pasta Mari e Monte and the lamb shank). We all agreed each dish was superb. Sides of spinach (yummy) and zucchini (divine). The starters were fantastic too. The menu has a wide selection and choice and the food really is divine. Wine was lovely, as was pudding and the following coffees. Will definitely be returning many times. Go and discover for yourselves!
Don't get me wrong, the food was nice, but we were there on a Saturday night at prime time, and there was only 1 other table occupied.
There was a lack of fillet steak, which was used in a few dishes, and we were told it was the butcher's fault.
Also out of Baileys... so apparently they went to a pub up the road to get some... hmmm...
The service was ok, but the food was never bought out at the same time.
Price wise, it was reasonable, but I don't think I would go back again or recommend this place to anyone.
Lack of ambience, odd service (shared personal information), not complete menu, bar not stocked, just not the experience you expect from a restaurant.
What is the point of Google's ratings service when every restaurant has 4 or 4.5 stars, with 90% positive reviews and 10% absolutely awful reviews? This is why we rely on restaurant critics and authentic reviews from social influencers we trust, not a) paid-for positive reviews, or b) grudge bearing other restaurants in the area.
Zia Maria was nice enough, but the decor hasn't changed since it was previously an Indian/Thai/Sushi (changes every couple of years). The food was reasonably tasty, the service was enthusiastic and honest, if not very slick. We had a nice time there, but mostly because we hadn't been out for a while, had a lot to talk about and the other diners were respectfully enjoying themselves without being too loud. So, er... 4 stars?
Fabulous food, fabulous service! Would highly recommend. They coped beautifully with a group of 20 of us tonight. Staff and service were amazing! Highly recommend this lovely family run restaurant
Visited last week and what a disappointment sat down ordered a drink and was served a flat and horrible pint of morretti and when I complained was told by the waitress that every body sends it back!!
I then was about to order calamari when I noticed someone sending there’s back so decided to have a Vesuvius pizza and salad the pizza was awful greasy and just not nice and the salad just some leafs chucked in a bowl I then asked for the bill and said that they needed to remove the salad from my bill 2 minutes later I was confronted by the chef/ owner who started ranting that his salad was amazing but had removed it from our bill.we then paid and left but we’re chased into the car park by the chef/owner who had clearly been drinking ranting that we needed to pay the bill we had already paid my wife said that we would leave a review and that we wouldn’t be back instead of an apology we got told that he didn’t care and to go away.
AWFUL
Worst place ever !! doesn’t even deserve a 1 star review. Food was awful took forever to be served & it wasn’t even busy. The dish was bland with tiny sized prawns & overpriced for what you get.. wished I went to my usual place don beni as at least they serve decent meals Witt lovey pasta dishes & good sized king prawns & sauces.. We will never return again.
Reminded me of my Italian holiday, excellent authentic food. My second visit was a family celebration and a mix of ages, all agreed the best Italian food in the area quality and price very good also super service will be back again and again.
