I visited during lunch. I walked in and was sat immediately. It was a Friday and 20% occupied. They brought a menu with some crunchies for the table. I order a lunch special. It comes with soup & rice. I asked for Hot and Sour, he brought me Wonton. I didn’t complain I just ate it minus the wontons which I don’t like. I ordered General Tso’s chicken. It was very good. Nice and fresh with white meat. I ordered extra spicy and I don’t think that was conveyed to the kitchen. I witnessed another table asking for crunchies for their soup and the waiter grabbed a basket from a table nearby. It was unclear if they were fresh. I needed a to go container. He brought me one Chinese style box so I could only get the chicken not rice. Lunch with water was $10.35.
I ordered Hunan Chicken. It had zero flavor. None. I added soy sauce and that didn't help. I had to add sauce I had in the fridge to make it edible. They also had a bunch of veggies in it that typically aren't added to Hunan chicken. For such a pricey menu I was definitely disappointed. It was the worst chinese dish I've ever eaten and will have to throw the rest in the trash.
We ordered carryout. Egg drop soup was made with water, not chicken broth, gravy for egg foo Yung was completely tasteless, like the soup, shrimp toast had hardly any filling. It was truly horrible, we paid $80 for very, very bland food. I never leave negative reviews, and we've ordered from them before, but this time was a 100% miss. We won't give them our business again.
My first trip to this restaurant will not be my last. We were a group of 10, and the service was speedy and efficient. I had Double Cooked Pork that was served hot and full of flavor. We were celebrating a birthday, and we came with cake and candles, and our server fixed it up and brought it out fully lit at the appropriate time. Everyone left with full bellies and smiles on their faces!

We ordered the crab rangoon for appetizer and it did not disappoint.
For the main course, I opted for the beef lo mein. Noodles were flavorful and beef was seasoned perfectly and had a great fresh taste.
My children ate all their chicken and broccoli with rice.
If you are looking for a great Chinese food restaurant in the area stop into Zheng Chinese Garden.
Moved to Midlo from NYC. We went thru 8 different Chinese restaurants in the area, found this gem on the 9th try. Wish I didn’t have to order 8 not so great meals but Zheng Garden was worth the search. The food & quality is worth 5 stars without a doubt, minus one star only because the prices are pricey. $10+ for two quarts of white rice is a lil bit steep.. I will still gladly pay the price for good entrees here of course!
Sweet and sour chicken looked (and tasted) like it had been cooked with a flamethrower. We got three different kinds of lomein and each was as bad as the next-zero flavor. To top it off, the little packet of noodles they give you was stale. Quite possibly the worst Chinese on Hull St, and if you’ve eaten the Chinese along Hull St, you can only imagine how horrible this was
I've been eating lunch here for a few weeks now, and the food has been constantly delicious. Highly recommended lunch spot!!
