Best WLM Reviews
I stopped into this place for an early dinner. First impression was good. The food quality was about the lowest I’ve ever seen. I’m pretty sure the “chicken” in my lo mein wasn’t chicken, maybe chicken fat. After eating 2-3 bites I told the server. The manager came and told me that I had to pay full price but would make me something else. I asked for a dish and they came back and gave me two options. After seeing that the soft drink was $4. I vowed to never return.
This is some pretty good Chinese food. Really big fan of the Szechuan chicken and they have really good sized portions. The food was demolished before I could get any good pictures.
This place used to be a North Ogden favorite. We spent over $150 tonight and every single dish we had was unpalatable. The chicken was so weird and stringy. The hot and sour soup tasted old and like over-microwaved chicken. And let’s not get started on the “chicken nuggets” the only real kid option on the kids menu. When my husband tried asked to see if they could help us out because nothing tasted good, the said they wouldn’t do anything for us. We paid $150 for a meal that we couldn’t even stomach. Never eating here again. Such a disappointment since this used to be a favorite of ours. Not only the food but the management is absolutely atrocious.
This is pretty good chinese food just a few odd things about it. No soy sauce or salt and pepper on the tables. We were not offered chopsticks and yet usually do use them. When I asked for soy sauce the waitress seemed embarrassed to say they only had low salt. I was pleased with that option but she only brought out a few packets. Everyone at the table enjoyed their food and said they would come back.
The manager or owner lady seemed a little hovering and I did not love that. The waitress was fabulous and did not need the extra help. I would go back and order lettuce wraps again. The egg drop soup was just okay. My Mom loved the egg foo young. My husband had no complaints.
We got 3 dinner plates 2 orange chicken one 1 of the lo mein all the chicken was dry & chewy and had no flavor the lo meinn was flavor less. Expected better food for how expensive it was.
Edit: called & asked for a refund was told no because no one else was having issues with their food. So I went back in & took the food back. The manager got in face and told me she saw my review and would not give me a refund. Horrible customer service.
The food is not what it used to be. If you haven’t been in a while I wouldn’t recommend going back. The hot and sour soup and entrees tasted strange. Also, the “chicken nuggets” on the kids menu are just unsauced chicken that is used for other dishes like the General Tso’s or Sweet and Sour, and has no taste to it. It’s crazy that they’re charging $12 for flavorless chicken and fries.
It’s a bummer to see a North Ogden favorite go down hill. I tried to discuss the nugget situation with the manager, but they just said “that’s how we do it”. Cool, cool.
If I could give negative stars I would.
I ordered food from the North Ogden location and somehow.. they claim it was sent to the location on Harrison Blvd.
Here's the kicker... I still got charge for the food I never got.
I will not be ordering from here again.
This whole experience has left a bad taste in my mouth.
Edit: the owner has said that they have no way of refunding my money because they don't have a relation with the location they claim it was sent to.
Here is a screenshot of my order... Looks like I ordered from the right location to me.. So now, I have proof they either dropped the ball, or they are lying. Which is it?
I always love this place. They now have a QR code out front and you can order from there and it is ready in a matter of minutes. Everyone is always so friendly and the place always looks great. I have loved everything I have tried here
