Was scared after reading reviews but my experience was good. Nice people appointment was 10:00 am reached 9:00 am and out at 10:00. Receiving door near dock 14 and clean washroom
Unprofessional and Disorganized Facility
I had a delivery scheduled for Friday, September 27, 2024. I arrived on time, only to be told the facility was closed due to a power outage. They couldn’t give me an estimate on when they would reopen. My dispatch confirmed with them that I would deliver on Sunday, September 29, at 2:00 PM. I arrived at 1:45 PM that Sunday, but once again, they claimed they were not open and refused to take my load.
After rescheduling for Monday, I showed up on time, but the parking lot was full. I checked in and waited *8 hours* to get unloaded. Despite being there before others, they prioritized unloading certain loads over mine. The security staff told me to wait after seeing my paperwork, making it clear they prioritize city drivers loads, leaving others stuck and wasting time.
Because of this facility's disorganization, I was stuck in South Carolina for more than 5 days. On top of that, the way they treat drivers is unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend this facility to any driver—it’s a waste of time, and they don't respect our schedules.
I just read a review from a driver(Somal) that said he arrived on Friday September 27. And he was stuck here for 5 days before unloaded. Let me remind those who frown on a company for that. But just remember that day is when our world stopped turning. Hurricane Helene hit us that morning. Our roads were blocked. Our power was off days or weeks and yet we came to work to keep our customers running. You're pretty selfish dude to not even acknowledge in your review what we were going through. Sitting at this building may have saved your life from a falling tree or a raging flood.
I am hopefully soon to get accepted to be an apprentice with ZF Transmissions, now based on my acceptance to college. So far I have received reliable information from them.This program is an excellent program to try if you’re a senior in high school, good with your hands, specialize in mechatronics Also Pneumatics, and therefore want a successful future and steady income. I’m very blessed to have this opportunity with this amazing company. I recommend trying the apprenticeship program here at ZF.
terrible place, arrived at 11:00 pm according to the appointment, checked in, opened the door at 2:00 pm, was unloaded at 3:00 pm, there is enough room to maneuver, but the entrance to the dock has an "upgrade" that is very tight. The staff is rude. Two stars only with the possibility of overnight parking.
24 hour receiver during the week driver had appointment at 6 am arrived the night before and was unloaded in an hour. If you deliver on Friday try to get there before 10pm they do close for the weekend and open on Sunday at 10pm.
Now I see why they have bad reviews..my appointment was at 6am.... I arrived at 545 and it is now 8am and I am still waiting with no explanation and will likely lose my next load because of it.....
Got there 11:00 am for a noon appointment. Waited at the staging area until 12:30 before I got a dock assignment. I was unloaded in 20 minutes and back out the gate. You do gave to turn your keys in unless you wait in the lobby.
