I grew up in Orange County and miss the Indian food there.
Stopped by Zesty Swarma to puck up a dinner while I write out Christmas cards.
Chris, the server is awesome.
Got home to eat the Signature Swarma Chicken, hoping to eat a delicious meal.
Sorry, but the chicken was hard and dry like shoe leather. The chicken must have come cheap.
I opened up a can of coconut milk to soak it probably overnight.
Because I paid $18.00 for the dinner and gave 2 buck tips.
So $20.00 doesn't come easy.
The rice is good, the taboulliis tasted fresh, and the baba ???? is tasty.
But skip the chicken!

Hubs and I were in the area a year ago, and tried Baklava ice cream for the first time. Highly recommended, especially w/ add'l baklava ????
The cheese rolls and Mediterranean rice are good vegetarian options, as well as the Mediterranean green salad. We tried Fattoush for the first time but it tasted similar to the salad, and may be more filling with pita bread instead of pita chips.
I’ve been here quite a few times and it’s always great. Love the food, they have good service, & it all comes at a good price too so you can’t really ask for much more. Definitely worth stopping by if your in the area ????????
I’ve been here a handful of times and without skipping a beat. The food hits harder than a fully loaded cement truck. Chicken is perfectly seasoned with a hint of char on it. Gyro meat is also on par or greater. My 10month old baby loves the food and the staff is wonderful. Thank you and look forward to returning often.
Over all good impression at first. Owners working were very nice! Food was good but meat was very dry!!! Three starts for food!
The works part was how rundown the facility is!!!!! The most filthiest bathroom of all time is literally a few feet away from cooking food! What an embarrassment to the owners for such a nasty dirty bathroom! Walls in the eatery were scratched up and dirty. Did not feel like a clean facility. If the place is dirty it makes me wonder how they clean the kitchen and if they wash their hands… please please owners of this place clean up your restaurant because you are serving food!!!!!
Going to have to give it another shot. The restaurant opened late. Next time I will come around lunch or dinner time. I was served leftovers from the night before, which is not uncommon for restaurants to do. My chicken was dry, and my rice came out of the microwave. I know the food would have tasted better had it been fresh. The staff did follow Covid Guidelines and they offered outdoor seating. I will update my review at another time if the food is better. 2 stars is low, but hope the next time they get 5 stars.
First time here, & food was delicious. We've had Mediterranean food plenty of times before & thank goodness this place was delicious & not greasy (usually thats my only complaint at places) Ordered the Chicken Kabob plate. Food came out hot. Chicken was nice & tender & great seasoning. Rice was cooked just right. Hummus was good. Greek Salad was good. Husband ordered a chicken shawarma & said it was good as well. Overall pretty tasty. Will be back
Ordered the chicken pita wrap. Flavor wise it was very good. The chicken was on the dry side . It was my first time trying ME food so I didn’t know what to expect. Next time, I will definitely ask for fresh chicken. Other than that, I would recommend just ask for fresh meat when ordering.
