Best WLM Reviews

The location is beautiful. I will undoubtedly admit that the scenery in Midway is absolutely gorgeous, especially in the fall. However, the hotel design is extremely underwhelming for the price point. We stayed in a suite but it really lacked having a "suite vibe."
This seems like it could use some kind of updates in the rooms. I was hoping for something better. The plus is their gym room and the bar inside the restaurant is pretty good. The bakery also was phenomenal, made it's mark.
Another random thing is the room fridge kept freezing our meals and drinks, no matter how much we adjusted the temperature it didn't seem to make a difference. Overall not terrible but not worth the price.
Interesting first impression… when my husband and I checked into our room it was a mess. There was a huge panel hanging from the ceiling, the toilet was taken apart, there were rags and wrappers all over the floor and bathroom. I took plenty of pictures because it was hard to believe. We quickly called the front desk and found out maintenance hadn’t communicated that they were still working on the room. At first we were told we couldn’t get a new room because they were booked up, but eventually they found us a different one. The rest of our stay was fine, nothing super luxurious or special.
I've stayed in a suite with fireplace before but this time it was a normal double queen room.
It was very quiet, everything was great!
I love the decor and the ambiance! It is so charming... I simply love Midway. It's my favorite place in Utah.
I would recommend having more shampoo and conditioner somewhere because it's only enough for one person.
Zermatt Resort is extremely outdated. We stayed for a night in the penthouse suite and they said it was the biggest suite they had with a tub and a pool table and stuff and when we got to the room, it was super small. It was not a penthouse, it was more of a small room. We over payed for the room and we didn't get our deposit back till 2 weeks later! We were supposed to get it the day after. The restaurant was amazing and our anniversary dinner was the cheapest. The salmon was perfection ???? I highly recommend it. There pool needs a lifeguard on duty because there were so many kids in the pool jumping in left and right even though there were signs up. I will never spend my anniversary here again. They need to update a lot of things to make it a more relaxing, stress free, 3 star hotel. I felt like I was lied to about the room and was very disappointed. The pillows were lumpy and didn't feel great. Spending $300 plus dollars for 1 night is a big deal and I feel like the management needs to care more about updating the place and making it more modern but still keep that old style look. I feel like they should also give you a complimentary service in the spa if you get a penthouse suite. I would love to see some improvements so I want to go back. The views are gorgeous but it's not worth it to me.
The hotel seems run down and general maintenance is failing. It also is it of date and has a strong odor. In our "penthouse" suite, there were many small issues: light bulbs burnt out, jetted tub jets broken, room phone didn't work. Sadly with so many small inconveniences, the trip was less enjoyable. Our room didn't have a couch or a table which made things less enjoyable. We did ask the staff for a table and the was no follow up from them. Their main hot tub was broken and it seemed many previous bars and restaurants that were there had abandoned the place.
The staff were friendly and helpful for the most part. Walking through the hotel showed water damage, outdated carpets, etc. The yoga instructor Ned was very friendly and did a great job.
The out door chess set is falling apart. The mini golf course was okay. It needed some TLC.
Overall our experience was mediocre. I would probably not recommend this hotel to friends or family.
This place is so nice! Absolutely beautiful! It looks like a Swiss village. Stayed here with my family, on a budget. What you get for the price is beyond anything you’d expect. We got just a regular double queen room. Initially, we were put in a room with a mini fridge or microwave. We asked if they could bring any. They didn’t have any, but they were able to move us to a room that did, at no additional cost. The receptionist was very friendly, and helpful. There’s plenty to do on site. Of course, my sons loved the pool! It’s an outside and inside connected pool. Kids loving swimming between the two. There’s decent views, but the best thing is the overall feeling of being in a secluded Swiss village. They have a pretty good bakery on site, adventure ATV rides, mini golf, and more. I travel quite a bit…it was the best stay that we’ve had anywhere that we didn’t pay more than $300/night for.
Very nice resort in the mountains. Was there for a few days for a conference. People say it’s dated, but I believe that is on purpose. For that ski resort feel. Nice people… nice stay. Monday has some good restaurants. Very nice bakery on site.
Our family had an amazing trip at Zermatt Resort in Midway, Utah! We stayed in the one-bedroom villas, which were comfortable and perfect for our needs. The kids absolutely loved the pool, and it was a great way for them to unwind.
We spent two nights here while visiting Midway for the annual Swiss Days festival over Labor Day weekend. The location was perfect, and the resort added a special touch to our holiday experience.
We will definitely be coming back. Zermatt Resort has won us over with its wonderful accommodations and family-friendly atmosphere!
