Best WLM Reviews
The pastries are obviously super picture-worthy. We stopped as we walked down the street because of how beautiful and eye-catchy everything was on the window. The prices have a wide range, one may want to make sure they know what they are ordering while looking at the menu because most things are $5-6-7... but some croissants are $15. We got a donut with a red glaze that was just ok, kind of plain, kind of dry.... I love pistacchio and got the "bomb" that is like a ball stuffed with pistacchio cream, and it was also underwhelming, the brioche did not taste like anything at all, and it was a bit dry, not like pull apart brioche. Something like a round croissant with chocolate inside was amazing, one of the best pastries ever, and the lobster tail was also excellent (I ate it the next day and it was super good).
Lots of pastries in this Italian bakery, we tried the pistachio croissant as it looked delicious. The croissant was good, baked to perfection with a nice crust, the pistachio cream was a little too heavy for my liking. Would have preferred it to be spread more evenly compared to a lump of cream, but otherwise, a good croissant nonetheless!
This Italian bakery in the city is so good. Everything made fresh. Croissants, Fruit tarts, Apple & Berries Cake, Chocolate cakes, cookies, savory croissants and Italian sandwiches. They provided great customer service by providing me with info on the different pastries.
Stopped by on my way home craving some pastries. The display in the window caught my eye. Asked for recommendations since there weren't any labels, but the staff wasn't much help and seemed pretty uninterested. They didn't even ask if I was eating in or to-go, and when I asked for a napkin, they just tossed it on the counter. Not great service, to say the least.
Can't remember the exact names, but I'm guessing one was a chocolate roll with cream inside - crispy outside, sweet filling, pretty good. The other was probably a pistachio chocolate pound cake, which was disappointing. Not much flavor beyond the basic pound cake, and it got boring fast.
Ended up spending over $17 for the two, which felt steep. The bakery itself isn't bad, and the chocolate roll was decent, but with that service? I'll probably skip it next time I'm in the area.
We were visiting NY and not familiar with these delicious looking Italian pastries. The workers took the time to describe and explain what each item was to help me make my choice. We tried the bombalone which was so fresh, fluffy and absolutely delicious! Sweet but not overly. We are going back for more tomorrow

Pretty good bakery. I recommend trying the croissants with pistachio cream. You can able to sit inside and outside, but the atmosphere is not very cozy inside.
Authentic Italian bakery, the square pastry was huge (but alas $14) and it had mascarpone and pistachio inside. I wish it were a bit more fresh. Seemed like the workers also spoke Italian which was nice.
