I went to Zen Nails in Hammond by Walgreens and Pizza Hut.
The speed of the service was appreciated. I mentioned I had a wedding to attend for 4pm and it was 1:10pm. The service I came in for was Dip powder.
I don’t recall the gentleman that did my nails but he was older and seemed he had more experience.
The reason I gave a a poor rating was because the gentleman took nothing I said into consideration. I told him I do a lot with my hands and I need them to be very clean and strong. Within leaving an hour from the salon my index finger on my right hand chips. Of course I have no time to get it fixed. Today not only does my index finger on the same hand chip some more but now 2 fingers on my right hand has chipped. $50 for a service that is supposed to last for 4-6 weeks but is chilling after the 1st hour is ridiculous.
I do not recommend getting a dip service here and this is what I get for not going to my usual place and waiting last minute. A very expensive lesson learned.
It was my first visit, but as soon as I walked in the place was beautiful. Even the way you check in is upscale. I had a pedicure and a full set. I loved the experience from beginning to end. I'm definitely going back.
The man who did my nails originally they turned out great I went up under the dryer two of my nails like sludged down, kinda like they was a bunch up So I showed him another person fixed on just one coat didn’t even put a clearcoat on it when the other man had a two coats plus a clearcoat so now I have two mate nails In the rest shimmer or however, you are glossy whenever went to pay I had to stay in there for over 30 minutes because they was in the back doing whatever The nails are already coming off because there’s no gloves or anything like topcoat on it and I just got them done not even 15 minutes ago. That’s when I left the shop.
This by far the best nail salon. Bella is amazing, and I highly recommend her. She not only does good nails but is also nice to talk to.
I did not get what I asked for. I showed Kelly exactly what I wanted. In the middle of polishing, I told her I was unsatisfied. She complained about having to start over. Only to get to checkout and was overcharged!!!! Never going back...me or my kids!
Favorite place to get my nails done! Prices are fair and the staff is always so nice. Try and get Tony when you go, I’ve loved every set he’s done
Enjoyed the service on today! Sarah was fast and we loved her work. We also saw Bella and she did an amazing job as well! We will be returning.
The service experience did not meet expectations. Issues included extended waiting times, poor customer service, and a lack of attention to detail as my gel polish chipped within three days. This falls short of the standard I expect for pampering and quality.
