I just placed an order at this place for the first time, and I have to say, I am thoroughly impressed with their food. The BBQ spare ribs were cooked to perfection and had just the right amount of smoky flavor. The crispy aromatic lamb was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, with a delicious blend of spices. And the chili and salt king prawns were a real standout - they were perfectly seasoned and had a nice kick of spice. Their staff is so friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere for all visitors. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for some mouth-watering Chinese cuisine.
This Chinese takeaway is my absolute FAVOURITE! I am so happy it has reopened again. The food is consistently delicious, and the convenience of ordering is unmatched. Eddy and Grace from the shop are always so helpful and friendly. Prices are very reasonable especially for the amount of food you receive. Five-stars every time!

The best Chinese restaurant ever. Their hot&sour soup is the most delicious one and definitely 10 out of 10. Prices are good as well, you got a very portion for it. Customer service are excellent. They are really friendly and kind. Home delivery service are so quick as well. Yeah I offer to anyone to visit and spend their money. It’s worth it and you’ll be a very pleasant and happy customer. Just like me :) since I went in first time then I always go back there. I used to visit many of Chinese restaurants and deffo zen kitchen is excellent
Pretty impressed. We had black bean chicken - it was soft, fresh and authentic. Roast duck was good liked the chinese cabbage with it too.
Salt and pepper squid was good and fresh.
Har gau (steamed prawn dumplings) was good - like that they gave you soy sauce and chilli oil like they do in the restaurants.
Egg fried rice was one of the tastiest I've had from a takeaway.
Slight let down was the Pak choi which didn't have the satisfying crunch - it was quite mushy.
I suspect it wasn't the freshest and/or over cooked so minus a star for that unfortunately.
The portion sizes are smaller than other Chinese take aways, but we didn't mind as it was tasty and we didn't have to throw any food away.
Will definitely order again and maybe an extra dish to try next time.
Also the restaurant called me shortly after I placed the order through Ubereats to clarify two dishes I ordered which didn't go through properly which I appreciated.
Delicious takeaway Chinese. Friendly staff, easy to order, free delivery. Great variety of dishes and all very reasonably priced. Good portion sizes, very tasty. All noodle dishes were exceptional.
Not only was my order late it was incorrect and the food tasted terrible. It was inedible, we had porridge for dinner instead. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT. Upon calling with a complaint I was met with hostility, the manager refused to refund me hiding behind false/made up JustEat policy. My rights were surely infringed in this transaction and regrettably £30 of my hard earned cash was thrown into the bin and no refund was given after a long conversation with the Owner where he hung up on me and then refused to answer his phone.
AVOID ZEN KITCHEN LIKE THE PLAGUE as I'm pretty sure you will regret it.
