Best Chicago style pizza ???? in town. Our family has been coming here over 20 yrs, we tell everyone about it. Great service, old restaurant style feeling and a real bar with Xmas lights on the wall. I suggest you order before you arrive unless you want to hang at the bar ???????????? before you eat delicious ???? ????!!
Sincerely

Pizza is deep dish style. The crust was dry and kind of crumbly. Otherwise tasted good. I prefer more sauce on my spaghetti. The spinach and artichoke dip was delicious. Comes in a bread bowl made of the same pizza dough described above. Staff were very friendly. The atmosphere reminded me of an old small town diner. A nostalgic feeling for me.
Wonderful Chicago-style pizza! Recipe is from the original owner and is authentic. Lots of cheese under the sauce! They have red sauce, and may still have pesto.
Contrary to claims, NO CORN MEAL is used but corn oil may be used in the dough. Some other places use it and maybe the customer is confusing the pizza from Chicago Fire.
This spot is something special. The pizza let me tell you that crust is like nothing I've ever had and the ingredients on the pie are delicious. There were 5 groups waiting before this spot opened and the phone was no stop ringing. Place this old and this busy has to mean something. Give it a try
A sincere "well done!" from a former Chicago resident. This is a good take on what Due and Gino's East do in the windy city. The corn-meal crust is not to greasy, perfectly baked with a nutty buttery flavor. The red sauce is also good, not too overbearing, and a perfect compliment to the very flavorful mozzarella. We got one with just with cheese and mushrooms, but the sausage pie was also delicious. Very good service here; love this place!
Took for ever for our pizza to come out. And the crust was hard as a rock. Talk about scarred roof of the mouth! There is a lot better options for pizza within a 5 min walk of this place. No need to go here unless you hate your mouth health.
First time and did not know to expect and we found the place amazing! Great pizza definitely recommended. A little dark on the lighting but it’s also a bar.
Heard about this place back in 2004. Finally went to try it. Pizza was different but good. I really liked the garlic bread. Cute spot.
