Buyer Beware! Expensive and small food portions at this location sadly was my overall experience. I spent almost twenty dollars in only two food items which to me was a complete rip off and actually reminded me on why I haven't spent any of my hard earned money here in years and will most likely will not be back again for a while after this visit once again. This is completely unacceptable! The food had a bland and weird taste to it and caused my stomach to be upset for the rest of the day after eating food from this place. Your customer service at least was okay which is why I am giving you 3 stars but I do not recommend coming here. Other than that, I will continue to stay away from here until you either drop your food pricing down or you improve your food portions which to me are ridiculously way too small.

This was one of my favorite places as a kid. The food overall is tasty, but the prices and portions are awful. I ordered one roast beef that was half full with beef. I ordered a chili cheese fries that was loaded up, but in a smaller container. It cost over 20 dollars with no drink included. I will only go here once a year unless this changes.
Never coming here again. It used to be one of the spots as a kid n teenager. The hotdogs are no longer beef, the beef taste different, they added no meat barly. The cheese looked like they just stopped it n melted it. Jesus. Maybe cuz it's in the hood, but Crown Pkint would NEVER serve tgis trash!!! I'm posting photos after this review.
First time eating here... Really love this place. I got a number one. Big roast beef with fries and a drink. I got mine with Pickles, peppers and mozzarella cheese. Seriously a good sandwich. It's simple, but really hits the spot... the only word of caution I would give is the au jus sauce... this is basically the pan drippings from cooking the beef. That's not a bad thing as it was a great sauce to dip my sandwich in. Not your standard reduction though.
I was going to Zel's since they first open in the Harbor, since then their price and size has disappointed me.
Now quality has suffered, I ordered a chili dog, it was squishy and looked old.
Bye-bye Zel's, it's been fun.
OMG the food is still sooooo really good! I moved away but upon returning in town I always have to stop by to grab some. Customer service there is Phenomenal! The young lady hope always brings the smile and joy of working there. Please PLEASE stop by abd enjoy the food and the service
Ordered from zels in Hammond for the first time in a long time. I am really disappointed that fries no longer come with the hot dogs or probably any other sandwich. I'll no longer be coming to zels.
