Real good fresh foo always. Have never been disappointed gyros are great. Fried shrimp platter, and chicken salad are solid choices
Stopped here randomly and glad I did!
The cashier/staff were so nice and the food was delicious. I went in the evening, so there wasn’t many people, but lots of them were picking up orders. There is definitely plenty of seating though, and everything was clean. I got the beef kebob, and though I felt initially it was a tad overpriced, it was fantastic; sizable, and flavorful. The beef was cook perfectly and there wasn’t a bland thing on the plate. It’s a little far from me but I would definitely come back for it again.
The food is always solid. They have the best french fries ever!! The way the owner treats his employees though takes the good taste right out of your mouth. It's utter disrespect and it's made me turn several times since then.

Food is great. While I appreciate they want to give it to you fresh - it’s NEVER ready when you go to pick it up. So if you want it - budget 10 - 15 mins wait when you do arrive. Don’t believe the 10 min pick up. That goes if you order it from Mr. Chow or just calling in. Might as well just order when you get there.
Food is freshly cooked, the help is friendly, and the restaurant is clean. The price is moderate, neither cheap nor expensive. I was visiting family in Tampa from S. FL recently. My last day there Sept. 1st, no one felt like cooking.
They totally deserve 5 stars based on the service and quality. I'm going back for more of that jumbo fried shrimp. Heck, I'll even go back for their regular size shrimp. It was so wonderful!
The batter and frying technique is everything. The shrimp and fries were seasoned so well. I'm still craving this shrimp. It was super hot out of the fryer so let it cool off before you take that first bite. But it's so worth the money. I could have shared this with my husband. It was such a large quantity. There were about 10 jumbo shrimp and a ton of thick cut fries.
I decided to drop in for lunch based on Auyanna's review. I totally agree with her. The staff was so friendly and made sure I had everything I needed. I was given cocktail sauce for the shrimp, but I didn't need it at all. It was tasty by itself. They have plenty of booth and table seating. The restaurant is clean and roomy. This whole experience makes me want to go back and try other menu items. Maybe a fish and shrimp combo next time. Don't even ask me about their Mediterranean food. I'll have to update this review after I finally try it.
I was also surprised to see the coconut lychee drink. It was very good for a bottled SaVia drink, and they had many flavors. It even had little pearls of lychee jellies. It was kind of sweet like a bubble tea. It was great!
I know they have other locations in the Tampa Bay area, but this one is in Riverview on US Hwy 301 and Krycul Ave (or Duncan Rd, or Gornto Lake Rd). That road gets renamed 3 times as you're driving through Brandon to Riverview. It eventually becomes Krycul once you cross over 301. Anyway, Zeko's is behind a gas station and next door to Flavaz Jamaican Grill (another great restaurant). This place is kind of a hidden gem. I've only seen it coming from Duncan Rd and always wondered about it. Well, now I don't have to wonder. I'm looking forward to my next visit.
I really do love everything at Zeko’s. I’m #1 fan! But today we ordered take out and look at this picture. They put the falafels into the container straight out and it melted the container, and it got stuck to the food. This is not right and it can cause health problems to eat this foam container. Please people at Zeko’s, please change your containers to a healthier option, even recyclable cardboard containers so we don’t get your yummy food contaminated by cancer causing chemicals. Thank you!!!
