Best WLM Reviews
I think it is a great icebreaker place for Indian food. The spice level was very mild although the dish was well prepared. There was a live music( every third Friday) which was a added bonus. Definitely a must visit restaurant for people who have not tried Indian food because of the spiciness.
Everything was amazing. The flavors and level of heat. Was fantastic. I ordered for pick up from DoorDash. The food was still finger tip burning hot when we returned home. I Highly recommend.
Came back to try again. Gobi was very oily and no real flavor. Pakora was mixed veggies deep fried with no spice. Very disappointed in this visit. Staff removed the gobi from the bill.
Last visit.
Fantastic food and wonderful staff. Vegan options right on the menu.
Food and atmosphere were fine but when I get ready to pay, the server comes over with a machine and it forces you to pick a tip option while they stand there watching what you pick. I still tipped but it’s kinda uncomfortable and pushy to make the customer pick a tip option while they are holding the machine in their hand, at your table, looking at what you will select. I won’t be going back until they just leave the bill like a normal restaurant.
Owners are so friendly and amazing. The first time we stepped in we had a small baby and they asked if we'd like a quiet place to sit. We've come back once a month since and they remember us and make us feel so welcomed. Food is beyond amazing, staff is great. Couldn't recommend this place enough!
My son and I came by for dinner this evening. Everyone was very kind, our server explained the different dishes and answered all our questions, she was great. Then the food- it was amazing!!! Large servings of delicious food, cooked to perfection! It was truly a wonderful dining experience. We will definitely be back!
After reading the reviews, I was eager to try this restaurant. But that wasn't at all what I had anticipated. To begin with, our waiter was the nicest part of this meal. He was excellent; he paid close attention and promptly delivered everything to us. Regarding the food. I've had a lot of different Indian dishes, and this one was just ok. Based on what I have previously eaten, I found the Gobi Manchurian to be flavorless. We also had the Lamb Roganjosh and Chicken Shahi Korma, both of which were decent. Although I have not visited the restaurant during its buffet hours, I would suggest doing so first to sample what they have to offer. For an Indian restaurant, it is rather expensive.
The food here was by far the most bland Indian food I have ever eaten. The Dal Makhani was near inedible, and the lamb biryani had barely any flavor at all. The only saving grace was that the lamb itself was tender and well cooked. Otherwise, there was nothing positive here.
I love Indian cuisine. I've eaten at a lot of Indian restaurants around the area, and other cities. I only mention this to preface that my experience here has nothing to do with not knowing what to expect. What I expect from Indian food: a wonderful blend of spices and smells that make your taste buds sing. What we got here was more like unseasoned thanksgiving turkey. A part of me wonders if the food here is catering to a unique audience, because I cannot believe in my heart than any actual lover of true Indian cuisine could enjoy this pale imitation.
