The soup was great! The whole family loved the Mac & Cheese. And they're obviously responsive when receiving both positive and negative feedback on here, which is a good thing, in my opinion. We only visit Michigan once a year, but it will be added to our permanent visiting list.
How the hell does this sandwich cost $10??
Its a single piece of lunch meat ham, and a single piece of lunch meat turkey, with bacon bits. That's it.
Bread is good, and soup is good, but pretty pricy. $7 for the cup of soup, so my total was nearly $20 this and I’m still hungry.
Not worth it to eat here anymore.
Do not order from this location, I ordered soup because it’s a soup place my soup was ice cold. Not only that they are advertising a “soup flight” and it’s just 3 sauce containers with less than two spoonfuls of soup for $20!! I’m so honestly disappointed. I should’ve figured it would’ve been bad! It’s Southfield! Northville never does this, so I guess it’s my mistake! But never again.
Update as of 9/26/2024: I went to a different location and was finishing up a phone call, (Northwestern Hwy, Southfield) and while waiting I was in the back of the restaurant, and I saw an employee preparing small black containers of what looked to be some sort of dressing, he continuously licked his fingers and placed tops on the dressings. He took one of the small containers and drank out of it, and continued to put tops with the same fingers he licked. He saw me see him and simply continued on, placing the dressings in the larger storage to be given to customers. I guess my Zoup days are over.
I patronized this place for years with no issues. Not sure if they are under new management or what, but my last visit, will be my last. Food quality poor and customer service even worse.
Tasting flight of soup at a fave place I haven't visited in ages! Tomato Bisque, Lobster Bisque, Cheddar with Bacon. YUM!
I am not sure why Yelp is reporting this location closed. I almost had a mini heart attack today when I pulled in the parking lot and went to check-in, and it said it was closed. Once I started walking to the door, I could see that was not the case at all. I got the idea to get Zoup because my coworker had picked it up, so it was a cold Michigan day, and a nice warm soup seemed like a good idea. I ended up getting the Chicken Pot Pie soup. It was so delicious.
I also ordered up to drink their lemonade as well.
The worst is when you're in line and the cashier takes the order from everyone. When it's your turn to order, she tells you to wait one minute walks away and takes 7 minutes. This didn't happen once, but on 3 separate occasions.
Very fast service! I love how they give you samples of the soups. The restaurant has a great atmosphere, there is also an outdoor patio. Very clean here and the staff was super friendly. This was my first time at Zoup! There are none in my area. I hope more stores open further north, than southern Oakland county. The Seafood Etouffee and Ham & Bacon Sandwich where SO GOOD! I wish I bought a quart of the soup it was that good!
