Best WLM Reviews
I have been to a lot of diners, this is by far the best one. Homemade strawberry rhubarb jelly and tzatziki sauce aka cucumber Sauce. AMAZING! Our waitress was very friendly and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious. My fiancé had the country fried steak and he said it’s the best he has ever had. I would give this diner more stars if I could.
First time with my Niece and the experience was just amazing. Waitress was very polite, big smile and understanding. Food was absolutely fabulous, nice portions and the prices for a meal is just right. Love the classic burger with bacon added on, asked for medium and received medium, fries was perfect. My niece loves the Ze’s Slam, said everything about it was very good. BBQ chicken wings is tinder and to my surprise it has a nice crunch as well. The cook can definitely cook, that’s for sure. Really enjoyed the classic theme environment and classic music. Would definitely come back.
Nice place to sit and eat.
Staff were prompt and friendly. I feel like the burgers needed salt.
The cheese curds were good but too salty. I would come back.
Always a fantastic breakfast experience at Ze’s Diner! The omelet selection is impressive, and each option is cooked to perfection. The homemade berry jam added a delightful touch to the toasts, complementing the freshly brewed coffee beautifully. It’s clear why this spot remains one of our favorites. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality breakfast!
Lacking serious attention to detail regarding cleanliness. Had been here 4 years ago and had a positive experience but I'm leaving a new review because I wouldn't choose to eat here again.
I had the apple fritter french toast, which tasted like plain french toast with emphasis on the eggs. The scrambled eggs were fine, as were the hash browns. I'd liken the quality to Perkins or IHOP.
I didn't use any syrup because it looks very questionable. It was very cloudy and there was some kind of gross build-up inside the container. I looked at other tables with syrup and theirs looked the same, albeit in a different style container. I saw 4 different container styles.
It was the same with the pepper shaker! I'm concerned about whether they ever clean things. And if they're okay with those things looking like this, what do the things we can't see look like?! I'd be terrified of what their soda fountain looks like, those things are notorious for being disgusting and not getting cleaned enough.
This is why I didn't try the "homemade strawberry jam" they give you in a small squeeze bottle (like a very small ketchup or mustard bottle). As someone who has done a fair amount of canning and used to make jam and jelly, I worry about the safety since it's homemade. Not worth the risk.
Also, they coffee tastes like cheap diner coffee yet they won't even leave the carafe at the table, so you have to wait on your server to bring you a refill. When they're busy, you've finished your meal before they come back! You get a small ceramic mug (my guess is 10 oz) and they charge $3.50 as of the time of this review (July 2024).
Overall, I don't think it's worth the price. It's mediocre food at best and I seriously question the cleanliness.
My daughter and I stopped on a busy Sunday. We were seated at the counter. We loved the atmosphere. We were so impressed and kudos to the owners, management, and, most importantly, the employees. We watched. No employee stood around. If they had a moment, they looked around to see what they could do to help. Everyone pitching in, helping take food to tables, wrapping silverware in napkins, packing to go orders, asking tables for drink orders, etc. The kitchen ran like a well-oiled machine. We heard the staff using polite manners to each other. Our food was great. I had a Denver omelet and was impressed with the amount of filling ingredients used. Very tasty! My daughter had the little stooges. Very yummy! Will be back and hope they expand to add a restaurant in South Dakota!
Great food. Excellent service. I just don't feel comfortable eating a fine meal surrounded by glass with a great view of the parking lot. Nevertheless, the chicken soup with wild rice was truly great.
It's like your typical diner but BETTER! The food was so good and fast service. They were pretty busy when we we're there but service didn't lack. Definitely recommend and would go back. Also the memorabilia on the walls was awesome.
