We've been here a few times and owe them a review. Overall, food and service is great! Breakfast menu is always on point, had the Mixed Mess most recently and it was good.
The only thing I could complain about is the cleanliness at times. There were a few times where the table wasn't fully cleared and wiped. Leftover napkin/straw wrapper, sticky spots, etc. Nothing major, but we make sure to wipe the table ourselves when we first sit down.
Ze’s is a fun, upbeat diner serving a mix of American and Mexican-inspired dishes. Today, we came for a quick lunch. My daughter was tired and hangry so the staff were super accommodating and let us sit and enjoy our milkshake while we waited for the rest of our food to take out. The chicken tacos were yummy! Not at all spicy but full of flavor and the portions just right for lunch. The kids Mac and Cheese was fresh made, not from a box. The fries were crispy and hot. What’s awesome is the food stayed hot until we got to a park for a picnic. That says a lot about the freshness!
So glad we finally got to try Ze's Diner. We both had burgers and fries. I like the retro vibe. I should bring my dad. He'd like it.

Efficiency without fussiness is what comes to mind immediately when I reflect on our breakfast here. There were 3 people working the relatively small dining room, and they were working it well.
Set up as a relaxed retro-style diner, with music playing very softly in the background and lots of locals dotting the room, you immediately feel comfortable settling in. While there was a "please wait to be seated" sign up, patrons were advised to sit where they like as they entered. It was about 30% full when we arrived around 1030a & packed by the time we left. It's not a fancy establishment but it isn't the run of the mill greasy spoon either.
We each opted for our choice of omelette, of which there were several unique offerings & 3 bread choices to pair with them. The ingredients used were fresh, food came up fast and hot. The ample "fillings" were served under the fluffy eggs, giving you control of the ratio. Bonus: the lovely house made jam was good enough to suck straight from the bottle (please don't)
From my vantage point I was able to watch how the house ran. It was truly spectacular. 2 wait staff tended to patrons, while a 3rd person circled. Drinks were topped off regularly. Plates were cleared as quickly as they were set aside. Tables were cleaned and set as the patrons exited. The longest wait was for our bill, still under 5min.
Prices are reasonable. Great food & service, a much better choice than chain diners with canned/frozen veggies - do yourself a favor when the diner mood strikes by giving these guys a go!
Super cute retro diner with all your comfort favorites! The pot roast and fresh cut fries were some of the best I have ever had. The staff was very friendly and it was very reasonably priced.
We stumbled across this place by accident. The diner was quite busy, but the service was still very prompt. The food was EXCELLENT. I had the chicken fried steak and my Bride had pancakes, scrambled eggs, and bacon. The staff were very pleasant. The diner was clean. We will definitely be back.
Love breakfast at Ze's. I highly recommend the Mixed Mess.
