Zaya as a name mean fate or destiny, and it was a fateful night destined to be when we showed up for a going away evening with our. Friend. He picked the venue and I am so glad we came out for the night. Holy smokes the energy was incredible.
Honestly I was surprised by the low reviews, because we came on a FANTASTIC night. Wednesday was live Jazz with the incredible Matthew Grant. Wow! Phenomenal musician!!!!! Get out here while he is still playing on Wednesdays. The level of talent and the soul in the music. B E A utiful.
Followed up by an awesome staff. From the oven fired pizza to the hand crafted drinks by Raef at the bar, wonderful experience all around. I ordered the the Let’s Play Together which was a gin, cucumber, pineapple, Prosecco? It was delicious. And then everyone at my table followed suit with the same drink. Nice job Raef!
Emilio the DJ set the vibe before the band started and he laid down some killer music as well.
From the moment you walk in the front with the security it’s a cool vibe.
The venue as a whole, beautiful architecture and layout. Great seating options and places to hang out. They’ve got a wonderful space here and it’s easy to park nearby and walk in and enjoy yourself.
Honestly, great experience. COME FOR THE JAZZ please it is so good!!!!!!!

$14 - pizza. Perfect snack to keep hunger at bay and enjoy the evening.

Ok its Pizza and you cannot bring in outside food that's why the low star. But they have a great DJ. I've been on a Tues and A Weds different both good. Grown up music. Bar right, fair prices, drinks ???? good. I Like the joint. Manager very accommodating. Comedy on Tuesday and Live Music on Wednesday. My type of ish!!!

This is my first time at Zaya, and I happened to walk in on a live music night. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but the moment I stepped in, I was struck by how beautiful the place is. The vibe is incredible! I’m usually a bit hesitant about trying new spots, but Raef was fantastic—he knew the menu inside and out and made some amazing drinks.
Quick service. Super chill place. Great music. Good vibes. Not sure if we got the liquor we ordered *LOL* but we enjoyed our beverages nonetheless.
I recently visited Zaya with a top model and internationally renowned actress, both visiting America and seeking a sophisticated, international atmosphere. Zaya was the perfect choice. The elegant ambiance and attention to detail in the decor transported us, capturing that cosmopolitan vibe they were after. The staff went above and beyond, offering warm and attentive service that made the experience unforgettable. A truly exceptional venue for anyone looking to impress and immerse themselves in elegance.
A gem of the DTLA bar scene, Zaya gives off an immediate and lush atmosphere as soon as you walk in the door. High ceilings with intricate detailing, every inch of this place exudes personality and charm down to the bathrooms. It's even got a pizza oven right in the bar!
Cocktails are similarly fantastic, can't recommend the Old Fashioned enough. Great music too of course. Don't miss out on this one.
My friends and I accidentally stumbled into this amazing gem on our way back to the hotel after a late lunch. Prioritize a visit when in DTLA, you will not be disappointed. Their GM Clayton was so welcoming as this was their first day reopening. We ordered delicious cocktails: Brock &Co., and the Smoking Pot. They are meticulous about their drinks and presentation. The vibe is stunning, and very welcoming. We will be back for their pizza later. The couple next to us raved about the pizza. The team brought us complimentary chilled castelvetrano olives that were amazing followed by Nutella Dream dessert. Wow!!!
Music was on point and everyone on their team seem happy and proud to be there. This place keeps on giving? Take your time to look at the artwork, the furniture, the aesthetic is brilliant. Will be back. Thank you!
This place is beautiful but the service isn’t that great. It is self seating, which is cool but it does through you off a bit when you walk in. V DTLA really feels more like a bar and the service kind of reflects that. The drinks are good and reasonably priced and the food menu has some tasty dishes. The carrots and olives were surprisingly delicious. The tuna was ok but the chicken satay lettuce wrap were a disappointment. It came out cold and kind of bland. The pizzas are definitely what shines here. I ordered the one with salami and it was quite tasty. So if you like tasty pizzas and good drinks to wash them down with, then come here.
