Only reason i’m reviewing & not going back to the store is because this is not my usual zaxbys, im never on this side of town. but um… what happened? i’m genuinely so confused. i sat in the drive through for 30 minutes then get to the window & sit another 10 minutes waiting for someone to take my payment & give me my drink… window wide open & the cashier talking to her coworker about her plans after work. someone finally acknowledged me, he read my order back to me, gave me my drink took my payment & then sat there for another 5 minutes waiting on my food. window still wide open, i watched him count my extra sauces (they’re all there) and watched him bag my food up and check it …. now /: i appreciated that because i usually check my food myself BUT i watched him check it so i thought i was good. drove another 15 mins home sat down to eat & opened my boxes to this.. but hey atleast all my sauces were there & my drink was right! needless to say, when in doubt always check your food :( because i just paid $17 for food that if i actually ordered it this was probably would of been like 9$-10$
Worst Zaxbys I’ve seen. Ate there on 11/27/24 at 1229 PM. The lady taking my order (Sierra F per my receipt) was unbelievably rude to every customer. All of the customers just looked at eachother in shock. It was almost like it was a prank. I know everyone has a bad day so I placed my order without incident. Went to get my drink and the Coke was out. I told them at the register and what appeared to be the manager said they were out of Coke. I went to get a straw. No straws. I asked the lady at the register for straws and the actually growled! She gave me some straws. Got my food in a reasonable amount of time. Went to get napkins. No napkins. Asked the gentleman behind the counter for some. He responded that they were out of napkins! I went and got some paper towels from the car. The food was great. Props to the folks cooking. Maybe promote them to management positions and fire your current front staff. I’ve worked in the restaurant business and I know it’s tough but this is up there as the worst service and most unprepared management I’ve seen in my life. I don’t want any free food just wanted to let you know what kind of people you have ruining your business. I’ll never go back and I suggest that anyone looking to go eat somewhere in the area to not go here. I tried to rate my experience on your web site but it would not accept my code. I’ve got a receipt below as proof that I’m not making this up.
I ordered online and elected to pick up curbside. The young lady brought my food out and it didn't have the sauces and they didn't send out my drink. I had to ask for that stuff. When I did, she said she had to talk to the manager. Talk to the manager to give me what I paid for?!? That's crazy! I paid for large fries and asked for extra seasoning but didn't get it.
Went through the drive thru, and it took over 30 minutes from the time I got there to when I left. I got 2 zax snacks , one w spicy sauce and one with normal, and both had extra and a funnel cake. I pull up to the window and the girl checks my order and I respond "yes and the funnel cake" she already took my cash so she told me what the new total was (went from $20.03 to $23.83). I wouldn't know for sure because she didn't give me a receipt or ask if I wanted one. She handed out my change and then said "we don't have any funnel cakes left" and then I responded with "then why did I pay for the funnel cake" and she had to call over her manager to get it fixed. It takes 15 minutes to fix her mistake. She then hands me my food and the manager helping her said "put one spicy zax sauce in the bag" and I said "I paid for 2" so she put 2 in there. When I looked in the bag, the reg zax sauce containers were plastic, whatever but would have been nice to know. I get home, and they're practically empty. Sent me over the edge with the way the employee didn't know how to do her job and then this. I paid for extra, and these aren't more than a teaspoon. I'm never coming here again.
How is the milkshake machine down if they just came back?! The chicken was ok but had no flavor. About have the fries were really good and the other half were awful. Bread was sad.
I never ever complain bc I used to work food service so I know how stressful and hard it can be, I used to work at the Barnet shoals location, but I got the WORST Zaxbys ever, my boneless wings weren’t tossed at all, I didn’t receive my bacon ranch fries, and were missing a drink and whole milkshake, I know it’s just fast food but at the end of the day we just wanna eat and come home from work like all of you do, most fast food places are just teenagers anyways but it still isn’t an excuse on why I should get poor food.. ;/ just wanted something tasty on my night off will not be ordering from here again :( and I didn’t get a refund! Spend $43
I would have left 1 star but I left 2 because of the comedic value. It took 20 mins to get 3 milkshakes to go. However, watching the staff interact with customers has been brilliant. Even if you don't eat, I'd recommend you come and watch this. Value for money I tell ya!
Did not enjoy this Zaxby’s. Spent about 25 minutes in the drive thru, with no one being in front of us. I ordered and paid for a large meal, and received a medium. There was almost no sauce on my kickin chicken sandwich, and both the sandwich and fries were not warm. On a brighter note, the salad was very good.
