Went for the first time since reopening.
Ordered the 4 piece plate (sub fries for slaw) with no drink and the 3 nibblerz with no drink.
One, they were out of zax sauce, so we almost just left, but settled for the spicy zax (which was actually preferable to me).
Two, they said we'd be charged less for no drinks, but upon looking at the receipt, it was full price.
Three, and this is the major issue, the strips were half as long as anything they have listed on their site. Literally, they were nugget sized (see picture).
So we paid $20 dollars for 7 nuggets and a bunch of fries.
Will not return, even though the taste was very good.
Easily the worst food ever. Long wait for cold fries, grease pockets in the chicken fingers and cole slaw with no utensils. Fries tasted like they were fried in rancid oil.
Update: Thanks for the opportunity to provide additional feedback. It was my first visit to one of your stores and based on the experience my last. The survey link you provided was too lengthy.
This place has always been so ridiculously slow AND absolutely horrible customer service. I literally waited 6 minutes before someone would come and talk to me in the empty building. And it took another 17 minutes AFTER my online order was supposed to be ready before it was. That's a 29 minute total wait for some of the most subpar chicken central Arkansas has to offer. No sorry, nothing, absolutely horrible customer service. Don't think I can come here again, it's consistently this bad. For $30 dollars and waiting 30+ minutes, you'd be better off driving to slims on Cantrell and back in rush hour traffic!!
Waited at the order menu for 5 mins no response went to the window nobody there but they have 3-4 employee cars. I look its employees hanging out behind the dumpster. I circle around to see whats the hold up & get back in line & 1 runs over & says they have no manager. The person isn’t here yet. They couldve said something instead of hiding behind the trash can & letting the line build!!
Stopped by to get some lunch before work. Got to work later to eat food and it was the wrong order. Been trying to call for the past two days to get this corrected. They don’t fix anything just give you this fake zaxbys feedback website. Then nothing is ever done. I figured since they reopened it would be better service. Nope!
At 805pm on 9-19-24, dining room door was locked. I could see a few people inside. Had to drive around building to get in the drive thru line. There were 6 vehicles in line. 4 that had already ordered. I sat there over 5 mins and line never moved. The car in front of me finally left, which allowed me to leave as well. Went to Chick Fil A and had my food in less than 5 minutes even though there were 5 times as many customers there! Close this place down. It is NO better now than it was b4 it closed the last time!
If someone were to ask me if I would ever eat/use zaxbys again, the answer would be a hard no! Saturday August 24 was my daughter’s celebration of life. I was expecting at the least 75 people. We decided on zaxbys to cater the event because, well, we love zaxbys chicken! The store I used was in Maumelle, AR. I had gone to the store to talk with the manager Miss Stephanie about two weeks prior to my event. She helped me to decide which platters to order and how many I would need. She was great. I really liked her! About a week after talking with her I went to the store twice to confirm she had gotten the order I had placed with EZcater. Both times I was told she was not in. Finally I called to speak to her and was told she no longer worked there. ???? I spoke to the “acting GM” and was assured that my order would be ready to pick up at noon on Saturday. My event was set for 1-3. When my sister got to the store at 11:45 for pick up, you guessed it, they hadn’t started it yet! She was informed
That they were short staffed! I had ordered $600.00 dollar worth of chicken. Thats a lot of chicken that they hadn’t even started! At 12:36 I was on the phone with EZcater. My sister finally got back with the food at 12:45. And guess what!? NO PLATES,FORKS,OR NAPKINS! Also there was no dipping sauce for the chicken except the extra 6 containers that I had ordered of what turned out to be ranch instead of the zaxbys sauce that I wanted. The containers they use for the chicken were all melted flat so the chicken fell out everywhere and the buns on the sandwiches were burnt black. Such a disappointing experience! I will say that EZcater was quick to remedy the situation and I will use them again. But that sure didn’t help the 75 hungry people I had on my hands not to mention the crippling anxiety added on to what was a very stressful day for me. Do better zaxbys!
Ordered through drive through with no issues. Employees were nice.
Ordered one chicken sandwich and two meals. Chicken was good, fries and toast were good enough. However, we did not substitute the coleslaw, which we usually enjoy. My mother immediately spit out the first bite and said it tasted very poor. I then smelled my own coleslaw and started to gag. It’s obvious that it’s rancid. Very disappointed that this type of quality food would be served. Especially when just the smell can make me dry heave uncontrollably. It’s that bad
