Last time I ate Zaxby’s was in 2009 so I thought I would give it a try to see if the service has gotten any better. Took 30 minutes to get a Mr Beast box.
And the food portion was a joke
They were out of sodas and water? (How are you out of water) So I got the sweet tea instead. There was nothing sweet about it, first sip and I felt my soul leave my body but it didn’t go up it went down. Very Little fries too.
I ordered a Zax snack. I received water instead of the Coca Cola that I requested. And no, it was not a sprite drink. I paid for a drink and got water!!!!!!
I ordered 2 asian house zalads. Salads were thrown together. Looked like they were sitting for a while. My wotons were soggy. My vegetable egg rolls were burnt and soggy. The drive through staff was very RUDE. They need a class on customer service. I told the girl at the drive through they forgot my salad dressing the girl said it's in the bag. If it was in the bag why would I ask for it? Common sense would tell you its not in the bag, so let me give what they asked for. She had a VERY BAD ATTITUDE. They also forgot my onion straws, I didn't know until we drove off. This is the worse Zaxbys I have been to. Now I understand why they are rated so low.
I ordered my food in drive thru (Chk 4360). When I got home I noticed an earring back in my Kickin Chicken box. I also received a chicken finger meal instead of the Signature chicken sandwich meal. I took the food back to Zaxbys and informed the cashier. My order was redone. After I received my order a female in the back apologized. The front cashier then asked me to throw away the food I brought back that was on the counter the entire time I was waiting. Customer service and training is essential. I was disappointed I had to return because my order was incorrect and an employee personal property was in my food. The dining area cashier was unapologetic and did not throw away the food I returned. Instead she let the food sit on the counter and expected me to discard the order.
I ordered a house salad. The bag felt a little light but I chalked it up to be close to closing time. I get home and barely have any chicken to go with my salad, there was no cucumbers, and I needed a spoon to eat my salad because there was not enough salad for the fork to grab. If inside was open i would've return back zaxbys to get a refund. This is ridiculous!
Either these employees have hearing issues or they just what they want to do here. Every single time I come to this specific store I will ask for one simple thing and they put what the hell they want in my bag. Unless you have patience to correct something every time you come to this location just save your time and go somewhere else
The chicken and fries literally smell and taste like cigarettes, the toast is buttered but not toasted. Just a sad excuse for what is usually a decent restaurant.
