Great experience at this location. Restaurant was very clean, food was great, and the service was exceptional! Our cashier, Sean, was very polite and helpful. He gave excellent recommendations and was knowledgeable of the menu. It was refreshing to see professionalism at the counter when ordering! We sat in the dining area and this young man brought us extra ketchup and even cleared our trays after we were done eating! Sean, thank you for making our experience that much better! I would give you 10 stars for your service skills and being awesome!! Thank you!
My biggest complaint about this location is the service. The food is fantastic and the cleanliness is meh, but some of the staff is very unprofessional and even rude. I come here often with my foreign friend who speaks fluent English but has a strong accent, and every time we come and she orders, the staff taking her order laughs at her and makes no effort to understand her at all. Even with me there to help, they consistently get her order wrong. Today they rung it up correct and before she paid they removed an item she had asked for many times. This is consistent with every visit and some of the staff here need customer service training badly.
We had a great experience for our first time at Zaxby’s. We had great conversation with our order taker (who I think is also a manager) Cindy J. We are from Michigan and don’t have Zaxby’s in the state as far as we know. Cindy gave us recommendations on what she felt was most delicious, and she was spot on. She did not rush us and was not bothered by our unfamiliarity and many questions! She was genuinely happy to help us. Your cheerfulness and helpfulness really stood out for us, so thank you Cindy!!! And for the food… The signature chicken sandwich was, in my opinion, better than Chick Fil A! The fries were great, nicely seasoned. Coca Cola Freestyle is always nice to have. Our meal came out very quickly, everything was hot, tasted fresh, and plated for dine-in. We tried an array of sauces and they were all delicious. I wish we had tried them all! The cookies were a simple sweet treat for after our meal. Dining area was pretty clean and well-kept: no looming cobwebs or trash on the floor. We will be back whenever we come next to visit our parents in Palm Coast.
Overall, a good place for a quick meal or snack. The service here is EXCELLENT. They are friendly and welcoming. I have to lower to 4 stars on the food because the size of the chicken has been reduced. While very tasty the chicken strips are much smaller than previously provided. This combined with a slight price increase over the past few years along with the deletion of the celery and carrots has lowered the overall value for the money. I also had to reduce the atmosphere to 4 stars. It was a little busy but the noise generated by other guests was excessive for the number of people in the building. Once a large group left it did return to “calm”. However, it would have been nice if a manager had have said something to this group for their “horseplay” and foul language. Also, everything was reasonably clean, The soap was out in the men’s room. So they are not paying close attention to the little details.
I will return and can still recommend this location. Just set your expectations slightly lower and you will not be disappointed.
They Did not have their signature sandwiches at the time. They said they were still frozen. We received grilled chicken instead, and it was awful. Was told to pull up and wait in the drive-thru and they forgot about us. A team member came out 15 minutes later and asked us what we were waiting for and then still waited another 10 minutes to get our order. Extremely disappointed in the whole experience.
Always a staple in any visit to Florida. Love to stop here for a great wings and fingers meal. Love their spice levels as well because they are spicy but just the right kind of spicy level.
Was charged twice, and didn't realize it until hours later. The manager on duty, Shannon was by far one of best customer service manager I've dealt with for refunds. Kudos to you Zaxby's you have a really solid employee/manager.
I dined in twice and each time was great! Very clean restaurant. Staff were attentive and helpful. Food was amazing.
