Nicer than a typical fast food atmosphere. Drinks are a good value with refills. The food can be good, but it's honestly nothing too special: just another chicken sandwich. This is a reliable option when you want a change from the big national chains.
I don't know if they were changing shifts or if the employees were just annoyed with the customers. But they literally threw our food together and at us. I understand customer service can be very irritating but we really like Zaxby's in our hometown and we thought it would be just as good here and this was a real disappointment. The french fries were not hot they were soggy and everything was pretty much cold because of the way they threw the trays together. They literally just threw the coleslaw in the tray all over everything. We were nice we didn't ask for anything complicated but it was still really bad.
I used to love this place, but sadly the quantity is not worth the price. Flavorwise it's still fairly good, but I got the #1 (3 tender basket) and my poor sadly sized chicken is what I would expect for a kids meal.
I wish that they would go back to the original size for the tenders and fry portion for the price they are requesting.
I know this is probably a corporate issues, but it makes me want to dine here less.
It would’ve been 5 stars because everything was really fresh. But the chicken tenders were just overwhelmingly salty, and I couldn’t taste any other seasoning apart from salt.
For reference, we got the chicken tender/wings platter with fries and Texas toast. The fries and wings were amazing, the chicken tenders and Texas toast were a let down. Maybe smokers will enjoy this level of salt, but it was hard to enjoy the meal.
The staff here were really nice which is always a plus.
Disappointed by Cold Cheese and Poor Service at Zaxby's
I recently visited Zaxby's with high hopes for a satisfying meal, but unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The chicken sandwich I ordered was marred by cold cheese, detracting significantly from the overall taste and texture. Additionally, the service was subpar, with rude employees. It's disheartening when a restaurant known for its chicken dishes fails to deliver on basic quality and service expectations. I hope Zaxby's takes steps to improve consistency and customer experience in the future at this location. I won’t be back again.
I was so excited for these tacos after an extremely long day. What is this? I get more ingredients at Taco Bell. At least make it kind of close to the ads.
The visit was great! I put a mobile order in for pickup and dined in at the store! I ordered Chicken Strips using the free 5 strips reward for signing up for a new mobile app account. You just have to spend $5 to get it so I got a drink and some cheese curds. I think they made the order as soon as I submitted it. It took me about 10 minutes to get there. The chicken had amazing flavor and still tasted fresh. The Zaxbys sauce both original and hot were very good with the chicken as well! The cheese curds were lukewarm. I think they had made the order instantly and it sat for a bit though. The inside of the restaurant was very clean and the staff was friendly! My only complaint would be that it felt like it was about 50 degrees inside the lobby of the restaurant. I am not a person that gets easily cold but it was freezing in there! lol
Who ever the new Manager or owner guy is that took over like 3 weeks ago, he's amazing. The employees are always so helpful and kind. The guy is making good changes. Chick-fil-A who???
