I recently dined at Zaxby's Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings, and my experience left me with mixed feelings. The interior ambiance was a bit moody, which set a relaxed tone for the meal. The staff were exceptionally pleasant and accommodating, making the visit enjoyable????
I ordered the #3 combo, which includes both boneless fingers and wings. While the wings were a delight, bursting with delicious flavors, three of the chicken fingers were disappointingly salty???? This inconsistency in taste was a letdown, especially considering the reputation of Zaxby's.
Despite the hit-and-miss with the food, the warm service and pleasant atmosphere certainly left a positive impression???? I would recommend Zaxby's for its flavorful wings, but advise caution when it comes to the chicken fingers' seasoning. Overall, it's a decent spot for a casual meal, but quality control could be improved????
I was the only car at the drive through as I made my order which was a Zax snack. I pulled to the window and the girl opened the window immediately and I said can I make it a boneless wings and things and she said of course. Then she came back and said they said they already made it. It took me a few seconds to get to the window and for her to tell them it took maybe a minute. All they had to do was add the boneless wings to the plate. Then the manager comes and asks what the problem was and I said I didn’t know it was one and I just asked to add boneless wings to a plate. He tells me well our window time goes up when you change an order. I was the ONLY person in line period so window time is more important than what you ask for. They had my meal ready in 1 minute. The fries were full of grease and old looking which you could tell they had been sitting there and dipped back in the grease. Their food at this location is never fresh. Tigertown location is always fresh and their staff is amazing. I love Zaxby’s, but won’t return to this location
I enjoyed my visit to this location. When I entered, I noticed the inside was very clean. I ordered a 6 piece Chicken Tender plate for Dine-In. The staff were exceptionally satisfactory and very friendly. The food was amazing and I had a good time. Definitely will be coming back!
How do they let these egg rolls go out? Absolutely inedible. Burned and hard as a rock.
When I say all the food in this restaurant is old. Cooked hours ago before serving. I went there for the past 5 times just to give them a chance. Food is extremely cold. Manager and Cook Manager be looking high and disoriented. I’ve been staying in auburn for 10 years and this is the absolute worst establishment. If my food was cooked a hr ago under the light and I take it home it’s like a BRICK. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE FOR AN ANIMAL. I CANT WAIT UNTIL THEY CLOSE DOWN. THEN I SAID ILL CALL CORPORATE. THE MANGER SAY CALL THEM. THEY DONT OWN US!
Yesterday evening I ordered the chicken finger plate. After finishing my food i became very ill. My stomach started to hurt badly and I was throwing up constantly. Due to me feeling ill I had to leave work early…. The stomach pain and the throwing went on all night. I don’t know if they gave me bad or raw food but I will not returning to this Zaxbys…
My husband tried to get chicken fingers for my daughter at Zaxby’s on College Street tonight. He was shocked when the manager refused to toss the chicken fingers in Wimpy Sauce. She claimed that they could only put Wimpy Sauce on the side. That is shocking since we have ordered online and had chicken fingers tossed in Wimpy Sause. As a matter of fact, we have had chicken fingers tossed at the College Street location numerous times and this is the first time we were refused service in 11 years. My husband immediately went to Zaxby’s on East University Drive and it’s amazing that this location tosses chicken fingers in Wimpy Sauce. We will never go to this location again.
Good chicken place. Long lines at lunch and dinner. Clean restrooms. Stopped by here on a Sunday evening, not crowded. Power went out and registers did not come back online after power did, finally the manager allowed for orders to be taken if people had cash which I did. Everything went well after that, staff was friendly and apologetic. Enjoyed the House salad as shown in picture. Definitely will return.
