We ordered in the drive through for a late dinner. Once we got home and opened the bag we were missing an entire kids meal and our cheddar were so burnt and hard they were inedible. For how expensive it is you’d expect better. This is not the first time we’ve had issues either.
Not the greatest experience tonight at this location. (8/27 around 8:30)
Firstly, the person working at the counter was not friendly and did not greet us at all. It felt like she had an annoyed attitude that we came in to eat. Not expecting a full conversation but a simple friendly gesture or smile would have made us feel more welcome. We finally ordered and watched our order sit at the window for 5 minutes as she did everything but call out that our food was ready. Went to the restroom to wash my hands and there was absolutely no soap in both dispensers in the women’s restroom. To top it off, we finally got our order and I opened my box and I got the puniest, excuse for a traditional wing. I think for the almost $27 we spent for two entrees, the service and food could’ve been better.
Zaxby's in Hixson is definitely a hit or miss. I prefer not to go here unless it's when they first open, at the beginning of the day bc no one cares about their job its seems. Last year, 2023, every time I got food from here my order was wrong and with my lifestyle, I don't have time to be returning food, I actually asked for right the first time and I always kept receipts to make sure. Go at your own risk. I left my review a for ya ????????♀️‼️
*UPDATE ALERT FROM 3/24/2024*
This was definitely one of my worst experiences with this Zaxby's. I'm not sure what they have going on but the chicken wasn't seasoned at all. It looked beer battered and it was bland AF‼️
Amazing food! Amazing service! The manager lady went above and beyond when I asked for an extra spicy Zax sauce. She even went out of her way to give me this fancy sauce holder that slides into your vent. Will definitely be coming back!
This Zaxby's location is pretty run down. Bathroom was dirty, paper towel dispenser didn't work. Restaurant overall was pretty unclean. Food was mediocre, definitely not a place you'd eat at unless you are on lunch break and don't have any other choice. The people working there were nice, doing their best with what they've got, though it felt like the owner is absent.
We went in late, about 8:50 on a Sunday night. The only mark against service was we couldn't get I e from either machine out front. The chicken tacos that Zaxbys is making is the best menu item they have added in at least 15 years. If this is a limited time offer, that is a huge mistake.
Worst Zaxby's of all time. 10/14/24 1:45pm. If work would've allowed me a second lunch I would have came back for a refund. Food was burnt to a crisp and cold as ice. I mean I truly don't understand who looked at it and served it. Lazy people. Do not go to this zaxbys it's not even edible. Do better, bums.
Ordered food at 717 PM (DoorDash) after waiting at the restaurant for 45 minutes, our driver gave up and left (understandably). It’s now 812 PM and our food is still not ready. Cannot tell you anything about the food since we still do not have any (on a school night when our kids go to bed at 830). #fastfood??
