So I went to the drive through for 2 meals at Zaxby’s in Port Wentworth, Ga. which looked terrible. I’m so pissed instead of the manager when calling reimbursing me my money, I was told to take a picture and when you come back in we will give you 50% towards your next meal bunch of BS. If I’m paying my money for my meal it should be right the first time. People work too hard to end up with a trashy garbage meal plus stay too far to go back and forth across town. I hate when you buy from this establishment they don’t get it right the first time. They get these young people that don’t want to work and don’t care how they serve people so unprofessional. No need to reply because nothing will change keep that money I won’t be back better yet hire workers with better customer service. Think how your family would feel getting this mess or yourself…
The service here is slow, and the food is always overcooked and just bland. They don't ever season the fries, the toast is just bread, and the chicken is so hard and dry. It's just a complete waste of time and money. The staff is however very courteous. I guess that's the least they could do. I'm done with it.
Staff don't listen to your order and then are amused when you bring it back claiming it is wrong. Resteraunt is damp and requires a dehumidifier to be running. Not coming back here.
Quality is not great. For over $12 the presentation and quality of food should be higher. When you order ahead it should be quick, you just walk in and pick it up. That’s not the case here, my order wasn’t ready for 10 minutes after the scheduled time. So if you use the app just know it’s the same amount of time if you were to sit in the drive thru.
Restaurant was clean and had modern decor. Restrooms were unisex and could use a little upkeep. Food was delicious. Reasonably priced. Average customer service.
Customer greeting and service was ok. Portion sizes could definitely be much better considering the increase in costs. The tenders have now become strips or nuggets. I tried the new tacos, asked for the avocado sauce to be served on the side and was told that they couldn't put it on the side????. Not sure why so I ordered them without the sauce at all. Shredded cheese should be added to these but no problem, added when I got home along with some chipotle sauce. They were ok for $3 each
I am new to Georgia, and my brother recommended I try a Zaxbys, and it didn't disappoint! For other west coasters, it is very similar to Raising Canes; but with a much larger selection of menu items including chicken fingers, wings, sandwiches (fried, blackened, grilled), salads and some unbelievably delicious SWEET TEA (brewed in house) ❤❤❤❤
By the way, drive thru was packed. At least 10 cars. There was NO LINE inside!
Let’s get right into it. This place is similar to Cane’s but slightly different on the breading of the chicken fingers, and very different on the toast. It is regular toasted toast, not bakery bread toast.. but it’s good. The Zaxby’s sauce is also similar to Cane’s sauce, so if you want Cane’s and there is not one near go here… but make sure you order extra chicken fingers they are small just like Cane’s ????
